Remember kerbs do not count as part of the track, so even if you just run all 4 wheels up on the kerb your lap will be invalid. You have to actually stay inside the tarmac at all times. I'll download your lap and see if I can find where you allegedly went off.

Round 2 Results - Bahrain

2 from 2 for Jorge - can anyone stop him?! A really great lap by NicoH in the Force India for 2nd place, and well done shep for bagging your first podium of the season!

I must thank everyone for participating and contributing very useful feedback on the mod, it is really helping me calibrate the performance to real-life very accurately. I will release an update before Round 3 starts in China, please look out for it.

Thanks also to Jorge for supplying an updated Bahrain track for us to use in that round, really appreciate it (Y)

OK, going for it this weekend, got my Mercedes out. I'm going for a podium. Who's going to stop me? ;)

Well, I'm showing my hand early and playing my Mercedes 'card' this event - it didn't end so well in Melbourne when I used up my Ferrari but let's see...

I tried submitting laps last night (just over 8hrs ago) for a lap that puts me in 3rd as per leaderboard right now. Screens said it was all ok and to check the live leaderboard. THat laptime is NOT showing.
Problem with the updating/displaying?? Sent you a PM last night re this Tom.....

Hi Shep,

I suspect you are uploading an older replay which is why it is accepted but not appearing to update? Are you sure you're submitting the correct lap? You can check yourself using hofxlapw just to be sure.

Third win in a row for Jorge, and 2nd again for Nico - can anyone stop these two? I took my first - and likely only - podium of this season, as I've now used up my top 2 cars, which moves me up to 4th in the standings.

Thank you to everyone for participating again. Next up, Baku.

Any ideas whats wrong with saving hot laps?
I normally choose a lap which I want to save, but its never the lap I meant to save. Saved hotlap is usually ruined lap where the car hits the wall etc. and after collision car acts like demon possessed on replay. The saved laps are somehow mixed.
Is this common problem? It starts to frustrate when you drive fast lap and it disappears like ash in the wind every single time.

@VilleV - Try these 2 tips:

1) Set your replay length to maximum in the graphics options;

2) If you use the "car restore" feature (pressing backspace to reset the car) make sure you do this at least 500m before the start line.

NicoH takes the win! His first of the season, and he and Jorge continue to lock out the top 2. J.L.M. re-establishes himself in 3rd with his second podium of the season. And what a great turnout, thanks everyone!!

I had a poor time of it - my excuse is I'm on holiday with the family so had no time to practise :(

@supermonty - I'll see what I can do.
