GPGSL Season 6 Complete!

Posted by GPGSL
What a great result for christel vxr on their first race! Thats a really really good drive by juck to get us up well into the points, and juliano did well to get from 20th to 15th place, well done to both of you, and woo points!

Sorry bud, think I've got that one (but not entirely sure yet - will have to wait for official results) - managed to gain 12 places myself.

ohh well, i made a run for it after the spin. Gotta say, sorry to Rico for throwing away a perfectly solid points finish. Sad to see the transmission giving up for Ben. :(

Congrats to Oakley and Tafuro :)
YAY our first win, also we've been lapping a car!And which driver!Ruben, what did I say you in the pre season?;)

My GPGSL Career

Happy to score some points with Tommi :) Nick was just a little unlucky, and also getting hit into the gravel. However we scored our first points! And are moving on towards Monza!!

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

Activity Check Announcement

It has been agreed within the GPGSL that the first activity check of the new season will take place on the 5th of May at 1PM British Time. The window being checked will include all posts made after the first free practice of the season in Melbourne.

As such, the first activity window will be from between the 24th of April at 1PM to the 5th of May at 1PM BRITISH TIME (. Punishments for inactivity are the same as last seasons.

GPGSL

P.S. As a forewarning, the second activity check will take place at 9PM British Time on the 15th of May due to circumstances beyond the activity checkers control - this will, consequently, give everyone an extra 8 hours to become 'active'.

woo hoo, then i´m good to go =P
One note:
I have noticed earlier, that there is a problem with lot of Melbourne tracks in GP4. If the pole position is inside, you could be sure that the driver who won the qualy, he wont keep that... I only know that Ricardo Lampert changed it, so at his Melbourne 2006 track, the pole position is outside, as in the real life....
NOt as good a result as TSS deserved today. Ruben did a brilliant job to fight for a podium but unfortunately, for reasons beyond his control, he ended up at the back. Marko did a fantastic job to fight his way through the field and get us some points on the table.

Both cars in the points is not too bad looking at what happened in the first part of the race.

A difficult debut :/

Hopefully we will be able to improve at Monza

Not much to say since I'm just a test driver but 3rd place is good for the team.
Elleker's Ego Takes Massive Boost

Wow...
5th?!
On my race debut, and the team debut?!
I'm over the moon with that, fantastic!
Driver of the day surely? ;)

Very nice work by Juliano too

Nice start to the season for SCR. After what looked like a pretty average test and qualifying, my drivers pulled a rabbit out of a hat and finished in the points.

On another note, and not to be seen as 'sour-grapes' in any way shape or form, how long has it been since Phillip Oakley has posted?
I don't recall any activity for quite a while, and after the effort and the changes we made to allow back into the series drivers that have been removed for just that, inactivity!
If Phillip fails to post by the first activity check on the 5th May 1pm BST he is to be removed permanently. Nothing against Phillip personally, I want to make that clear, however there are test drivers just itching to get their bums into a good car. If people cannot participate in the spirit of the league, particularly given the amount of effort that is made by the GPGSL team to make it all happen, then they don't deserve to be here.
The worst part of it is, whilst they remain inactive, another who is keen to participate, is locked out of the seat by their action, or lack of it I should say.
If per-chance I am proved incorrect, and Phillip has posted recently, the majority of my statement is still relevant regarding inactive participants.

Thats a bad excuse..

Open your browser: 5 seconds
Open Grandprixgames.org: 10 seconds
Open this topic: 5 seconds
Type a crap post: 30 seconds

Within a minute, you are able to post.. You can do that when your taking a dump in the toilet, or when you sit in the train.. Or even, apperantly when hes talking to you about that :P

Inactive drivers are not done.. Oke, first get 1 warning maybe without punishment. I agree with Mortal

mine was a secret ironic affermation ;)

My GPGSL Career
I am absolutely over the moon with that result. Massive well done to Jack for bringing the car home in the points. 5th place on our debut is amazing! Juliano did well also and managed to stay out of trouble to get home 15th. Points on our debut is a massive result and a huge bonus...both cars home safely and objectives all achieved and succeeded...well done lads!

Thanks Charrel for sparing me the time cause I wanted to write exactly the same. Not having the time to write one single post is a really bad excuse. Regarding the time how long he has not posted yet I would even cancel his points if it was on me. He has not given one single post since he was banned. This is why I am a very dissatisfied with the gpgsl not having made a decision concerning the inactivity issue although a decision was promised before the first race.
