Your no.1 driver is banned for life: Nul points. Eat that mofo. (H)

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
I think it's a good decision to remove Oakley from the series, it seemed rather unfair that a driver who hadn't posted here for such a long time could just go and win a race.

About the contract rule changes, I don't think their necessary, but neither is it a bad thing to do.

So can we get a clarification on the final result from round 1?

I wanna know if we can celebrate or not ;)

Also I'm in agreement with this rule, if we all act fair then it shouldn't be a problem

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions

I think it's safe to celebrate! That means jack nearly got on the podium. Awesome start for christel VXR!

GPGSL - Christel VXR team Boss S6-S8, S12 Onwards

Gentlemen, can you please not speculate on the final results for R1, the GPGSL is discussing options and the decision will be clear when the results are posted. Please be patient while we work it out.

We're just clarifying things at the moment.

I want all of you to take a walk in Paolo Tafuro's shoes. His driver has been disqualified, his team is a back marker, he has one race driver and is now in the hunt for a new one, his test drivers do not have what I would call great perfs. His race win points are in jeopardy as I write. I am responsible for penalizing his team by removing his driver from the series, a no win situation all round. I have chosen not to vote on the issue of the points. It would do the series good if team owners could approach Tafuro Grand Prix with offers of assistance. Preferable.

Drama at the first race. Not so good for the team though...

GPGSL: S6 - TafuroGP Tester (14th) /// S7 - ART Tester (6th) /// S8 - Demon Driver (13th) /// S9 - Demon/Snake Driver (13th) /// S10 - Snake Driver (???) ///]

If I might give my little opinion on TGP, I personally see no reason for voiding the team points as well. Of course one could argue that it was Paolo's risk to sign a driver who was still under investigation at this time. But on the other hand I think that, as you write Mal, Paolo is penalized enough already with losing his No. 1 driver and there is no real base for voiding the team's points as he didn't do anything wrong.

I agree with you, but I have left the decision to rest of the team. It is up to them to make the call.

Well it's a difficult situation for us, obviously Paolo is also a member of our team so we are a bit stuck

Could I suggest that Paolo be released back to his team to fill the race seat while he negotiates for a full time replacement

I know that team owners are not allowed to race but possibly an exception could be made because of the situation

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
There's better outcomes than that I would think.

you said it,it was a risk.I agree with that, but for a small team like mine Philip would have been determinant to get atleast on mid field. As Chris and Nathan said many times, for new teams is difficult to sign two race drivers in a new team.I had a problem with the main seat, and Philip was free from contracts, and with many seats secured he could return only with my team.
In a certain sense I expected yesterday's result. And then,Philip secured me about his activity, and I trusted him,as he deserves my trust. He signed me as rookie in S3.If I'm here is also thanks to him.And then, having a top driver like Philip, who won two WDCs,out of the grid was a waste.I thought the risk needed to be...risked;).

From my side,I can say that I made my best to get him as active as he was before S5.The funny part is that if he commented the qualify(he qualified 2nd,but nobody complained there, even if a win could be possible from that place...)maybe today my team's win would have been accepted as happened normally in the past season races.

Anyway,i've no intention in continuing this matter,so I will accept every decision took from the governing body, even if it will damage my team's season.

My GPGSL Career
I doubt it would damage your season, there are 16 races remaining.

I dont think anyone should be moving any places up and results should stand.
i dont want to see championship decided behind green table.

depends on the driver who replaces Philip.Gianluigi can't take home points alone like happened last season(with Rodrigo at the start and Gianluigi at the end). That's why i'm searching a good one(would have liked to put myself in the main seat, but I don't want to be an exception to the rule.I prefer testing for MPR Dan:-))

My GPGSL Career
Not only Chris would agree, but i agree with you aswell.
