Ferrari

We are happy to see Michael performing very well here in Bahrain. Jos hasn't been that lucky with the car yet, he couldn't piece it together, but he usually improves in race-pace so we are going for that!
There is a good chance of having two cars finish in the points, and we are aiming for that!

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

BAR statement

It could've been better, but Ralf Schumacher did a great job for us. Takuma Sato drove a bit poorly but hopefully he will gain some positions in the race. I'm hoping for a double points-finish.

Sorry but who said anything about it being realistic? We have Verstsppen winning races for example. Anyway the race will be up either tomorrow or Tuesday. More racing at the weekend too

ROUND 3 - BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX - RACE

Hello and welcome to the first ever grand prix from Bahrain. The circuit was in a totally different state a few months ago, but plenty of hard work and we have this fantastic venue for today's race. Williams took their 3rd pole from as many attempts in qualifying, but Ferrari have won both races so far this season. Can Williams or anyone else stop the Italian giants in todays race...

57/57 Their off and Alonso leads out of the first corner

55/57 Sauber's Jani passes Barrichello for 8th

53/57 Coulthard is forced to pit as he is suffering from throttle problems

47/57 A look at the top 8 after the first 10 laps which have been quiet

46/57 Pit stops for Massa, Raikkonen, De La Rosa, Montoya, Verstappen and Jani as they are all on 3 stop strategy

45/57 A look at the top 8 after those stops

35/57 Montoya passes Alonso for 5th

34/57 As drivers begin their first of two stops there's confusion in the Jaguar garage as Pizzonia follows Webber into the pits! They block Heidfeld holding him up

33/57 A look at the top 8 after those stops. Barrichello looks like he's on a 1 stop strategy. More bad news for Toyota as Massa pulls out of 11th with Transmission problems. Verstappen was 3rd but he's just spun and is now 6th

30/57 Jani passes Davidson for 8th

29/57 Verstappen starts his recovery by passing his team mate Michael. Drivers begin their 2nd stops, some of which will be their final stop. Barrichello makes his only stop

28/57 Wurz retires from 7th with engine trouble, however he did still need to pit.

26/57 Raikkonen passes Button for 8th

25/57 A look at the top 8 with only drivers on a 3 stop strategy to make their final stops. R Schumacher's day is over as he pulls out of 3rd with transmission problems. Button moves up into 8th

23/57 Montoya passes Wilson for 4th

22/57 Verstappen's day comes to an end as he pulls out of 10th also with transmission problems

16/57 Final stops begin

8/57 A look at the top 8 after those stops and with just 8 laps left

2/57 Button passes Davidson for 8th with just 2 laps remaining

0/57 Barrichello's strategy works out as he takes the win for Williams and ending their bad look and Ferrari's run of wins
