GPGSL Season 5- S6 CALENDAR VOTE RESULTS

Well, my 2nd set of tires wasn't the best, obviously. I couldn't push very much. Let's hope that the other set now is better! 6th is very decent anyway. I managed to stay out of trouble, which is a good sign.

Congratulations to Nick and Aston Martin Racing.

My own race will be screwed over by the 1 stop - but seeing as how Ross looks as though he won't score points (and someone who shall remain nameless definitely won't), I've managed to attain 3rd in the championship in my first season! Never expected that at the start of the season. :-O

Congratulations to Nick for retiring in style and big congratulations to Stuart Ingers and Aston Martin for clincing WCC !
Also Dean, you indeed have performed brilliantly, you also deserve some congratulations ;)

This race was good for VSM as i beleive we've scored a 7th place finish with John Mavericjk, i hope especially during the 2nd stint that we could finish higher. Chris is a bit unfortunate again when punted off by Gianluigi Silvestre in his doomed TGP :p But luckily we will see Chris back in a VSM car during the testing sessions.

I wanna wish John Maverick the best of luck next season at ART as i hope we will work together again in the future. It wa sa pleasure to work with you John !

Thank you once again to Mal Stoddart, Stuart Ingers, Dean Kittleson, Nick van der Voort, Maikel de Boer, Nathan McGregor and Ruben Greidanus for putting all this time and effort into running this series. Thanks for another great season !

I'm looking forward to next season with Ben Johnson and Michael Pedersen though. BRING ON Season 6 !

A sad finish to the year for me, blowing the engine early on in the race. Can only look forward to the new season from here...
Congratulations to Nick for winning the drivers title, and to Aston Martin for claiming the constructors championship.

And as Rico said, thanks to all who run, organise, and operate GPGSL. Without there efforts, we would all be having a far less exciting GP4 life! Thanks to them all, and roll on Season 6!!

Facebook message by JM after the race

I'm not thrilled with this 7th. The car felt very good in the first stint, but the second and third stint were very bad. Nevertheless it's a decent final result for VSM and, at least, saves the position in the WTC. I want to thank Rico again for giving me this incredible possibility which led to my first race win in my first race. I'll never forget this and wish VSM all the best for next season.
I, myself, will now go into holiday for a few days and then finally meet the ART guys, getting started for the pre-season.

My GPGSL Career
MPR News

The podium finish for Ben was a nice way to end what has been a massively disappointing year

But on the upside we were clearly 4th best this year even with all the troubles we faced with Randy, Monil and Matt

Next year we will look to improve with two fine drivers In international playboy Matt 'SpaceAce' Houston who will be looking to reclaim his championship crown

I'm also happy to announce our new signing Charrel Jarving who returns to MPR the team where he first tested back in season 2, after time at VSM and ART

I will also continue to test for the team, I've got my eyes on the testers championship

Paolo Tafuro will also be joining the team as a test driver

Sponsors for next year are still yet to be finalised, although we see no reason to split with Martini who have given us such fantastic support over the last 3 seasons

Thanks

I blame alcohol for misstyping there.
Obiously i meant Chris was unfortunate being punted off by Gianluigi.

@John i beleive you inherit 6th after Deans penalty...

Ah yeah, I oversaw Dean's penalty. Well, 6th sounds much better then :-)

And apart from that, this Italian Mafioso is kidding you, Rico.
You wrote it correctly in your post but he turned it around! That's clearly Mafioso style!

wow, i didn't expect the race to be run that fast. great result, 7th plus an extra point is a superb way to finish the season

Yeh, its been a long hard season, but I'm really happy that Aston Martin cliched the WCC as well as Nick winning the WDC. A fantastic double! Thanks go to all the drivers who have raced and tested at AMR, Nick, Adam, JohnW and JohnM :) A really special thanks to Nick van der Voort for selling Velox to Aston Martin and staying on, couldn't have done it without you.

Thanks to fellow GPGSLRS members Mal Stoddart, Marko Aleksander, Maikel de Boer, Dean Kittleson, Ruben Greidanus, Nick van der Voort and Nathan McGregor!

Oh no, we will have a big fat zero on the car next season! ;)

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian
Mmmmmm, a solid race for me.. Once more points for ART!

As far I can see, in the drivers Championship its:

9th: 54 points - Santanil
10th: 54 points - Davies
11th: 53 points - Me (Charrel)
12th: 52 points - Hinz

This means I missed the top 10, or even the 9th place by just 1 or 2 points :(
Anyhow, its my best season so far, more news about Season 6 soon!!

Race starts: 141 | Points: 886 | Podiums: 35 | Race wins: 10

Well our race pace was again better than quali. I'm sure next season will be better. Congratulations to champions
14th place, no points after a very bad qualy, no poits for the team...

Bad ending of the season that brought our first victory (and the second one...)
Yay! That's how you do it! So long, losers! ;)

I managed to bring us home a victory in the Tester's feature Race at Le Mans too! Almost forgot about that one. We at TNR will keep our chins up, as the year wasn't a total loss by any means. We will be back, bigger, stronger and more experienced for S6....
