I didn't realise I hadn't posted for that long either, my apologies. I do think a shake up is needed though. There are people with race seats that clearly can't be bothered and testers who make the effort most days. I think somehow, although how I'm not sure, we need to avoid people posting just for the sake of it.

I have decided to leave the GPGSL after the end of this season. I've lost the time that I used to dedicate to GPGSL to loads of college work. I feel that it is better that I leave at the end of season than stay on for another year since it's not fair on the mods to be spending their time on ghost drivers. I had the best time of my life since I was joined up in the league right from the start with the Double F team and all the way until MPR.

If I have time in the future and if the motivation strikes up again I may return. At the present time, I bid all you a fond farewell.

I'm sorry that you are leaving Monil, thanks for your time in the series!

Thanks, I'll send in the boost requests but of course I will talk to you before each race to see what your thoughts are on the strategie. After all, we are a team.

Monil, I'm gonna miss ya man! You were one of the stalwarts of the series and I will be forever grateful to you for giving me a chance to race for your team Dark Xploder. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have that one GPGSL win on my CV

Good to see activity checks are done! Lot of people are being inactive.. Penalties could be a solution..

Anyhow! I hope for a good result! My personal boost and teamboost should give some extra pace to the car! Last race was a mess.. Koemmerer crashing me off track, not even saying sorry? Really want to have a good result this weekend!

Since the start of the season, I've had a mountain of things going on in my life that have basically made my commitment into the GPGSL less and less. My motivation and drive to be a team owner and compete in this series has waned and after 5 seasons and one of the longest serving racing teams, I'm afraid that the team will not be competing after the last race of this season. It hasn't been an easy decision, but I think it is for the best.

I'd love to thank everyone who has ever driven, tested, painted the cars, for us, helped us on our way to our six race wins. Especially to our race drivers, van Smirren and Groeneboer who were solid in the early years, and of course Tonks, Grant, Walters and Somogyi. I assume now our slot will go to MAC Racing, and good luck to them if they decide to persue racing.

Finally, I might pop in from time to time to see how things are running, and now I get to fully focus on my life, sixth form and other such things. And hopefully, for our final the season, we won't finish at the bottom.

A fair point. Search for 'joint' by mami kawada and i think there will be dozens of videos using it (it's the opening theme for a japanese anime). It should be fine, but if not, i'll reupload the vid without the op.

GPGSL Announcement

The GPGSL team has discussed the situation re the activity checks and retro-active perf penalties will be handed down prior to the perfs going GREEN for Round 12 at Dubai. Activity checks will recommence on 1/1/2011. It is possible that due to the number of test drivers transferring to a race seat, the test series may be temporarily suspended. The GPGSL reserves the right to make changes to its announced decisions and also to the series in order to preserve its viability for the participants.
All drivers please note that the current rules of the GPGSL allow for drivers to submit team boosts.
