When I have four weeks of holiday, somehow I couldn't pass up the opportunity

And during my free time I have been compiling all the results
in the same form as what I do for every race now.

I have gone right back to the first season of the GPGSL and
made qualy and race results tables and championship tables
for all 5 seasons ( I have about 10 races left to do from the
3rd season.

What I was hoping to do was make an updated website using
Wordpress or something similar (if anyone knows which is the
best free blogging website to use, please let me know).

In the website I will include...
- Results from every qualy and race (and free practice starting
from season 4)
- The complete history of every team (if people still have the
art work for the liveries of there old cars could you please
send it to me)
- The complete history of every driver
- Historical stats from previous seasons
- Continually updated stats of the progressive season
(any other suggestions for things to include in the website are welcome)

Of course this is only an idea that I have and will only go ahead
if I receive permission from the authorities that run this great
competition, because I know there is alreay the GPGSL/Farked.TV
website so I don't want to step on any ones toes, I just thought
it was about time that it needed a face lift.

Like I said, I will wait for permission but I would like to try and get
this going early in the new year. I would also like to know what
people think of the idea and any suggestions from everyone are
welcome to try and make the new website as good as possible.

Yes, that's what I suggested about a year ago. If anyone has some web space, we can set up our own MediaWiki page.


For me, I don't care if its graphically appealing, just that is easy to comprehend and find relevant information. That's why I preferred the season 4 championship tables to season 5.

A quick question. Could someone please help me with the instalation of the season 5 mod.

In CSM, every time I click on Install carset/update and select the correct mod download I get this message.



What am I doing wrong?

Just click yes and select the correct mod and it should install. Even if you select the wrong mod it will still install but as a sub mod if that makes sense

Nathan, GPGTV website can't and wont stand in the way of any other. There are already 2 gpgsl sites anyway, so it was never exclusive.

@Stoopid - I tried clicking yes but it only allows me to select other mods that I already have installed and I don't understand the sub mod part.

-restore CSM
-go to gp4 folder then gpsaves/carsets
- drag the s5 mod folders in there (next to other mods folders if you have any)
- refresh mod list on CSM

Also the links you provided are both to race driver mods, there isn't a test driver mod.

I'd recommend you delete the f1graphics files that are included (find it at Data/mod within the folders) - they're not great in my opinion.

Either that, or replace them with this:

The f1graphics files that are included are my own f1graphics files and you know how great my shots were with the Hockenheim GP. It has more to do with his PC and/or the graphics settings in GP4 itself.

I read the few posts about collating the history of the gpgsl. I had quietly been compiling an excel list of the positions, combined podiums, fastest laps for drivers,testers and teams if that is the kind of thing that you are after?
