it would be a huge amount of work. you'd have to run at least one additional qualifying and it would be necessary to update the mod according to the results of said qualifying. the whole thing would require a lot of changes in the csm carset and the rulebook. the idea itself might be good, but imo the benefits don't outweigh the work that would go into it.

At least this relegation system is undoable, in my opinion.
In addition to the mod-problems already mentioned, this would most likely mean that all the same teams would relegate into or out of the series all the time, as there is no continuity. The new teams would have no time to establish and fall out of the series. And the teams that were already in the series before would most likely be the strongest teams in the relegation.

But as I said: Just for getting them some publicity and maybe get some more seats free when more testdrivers want to enter, it'd be an idea that we should think of

Ed. once again is a lot easier for us that livery adapts to the perfomance file than other way.
we adopted that way back so there'd be as little changes as possible in mod.
also Stu and Nick have to swap excel then and there could be some problems with perf points.
actually just swapping car lods can do the trick anyway.


btw unrelated to that, i had to do a reinstall of gp4, so almost had to give up covering Hungary as i have some cd drive problems.Luckily i managed to reinstall it now, need to update now with csm etc. so chances look good so far.

Well the way I see it, if the relegation system was brought in and if MPR did get relegated I'd just pull out completely

Waiting a season to come back would be rubbish, it'd just make people leave the series

it's not abou trusst, just noticed wrong calaculation, even you can make a mistake:p
Tonks had 16027 at the start and variance implies he scored 53 race poins so it would be 16080.
instead he has 16060
and 160101 instead of 16121.
was there a perf penalty that i dunno of?

i think that would be better if drivers can use 6 driver boosts during a season :P

If you're recalculating everything every race, why do I bother checking the perfs? :P\

And yes, Tonks had a perf penalty. I forgot to mention it when I did the check, but mentioned it to Stu because the perfs obviously didn't match at the next race.

the best idea to get people interested is to have a secondary league,but it would need:
-a secondary staff to make it running
-enough drivers(this can be solved by taking main series's test drivers and putting them as race drivers in the secondary league.that would delete the fp in both series,or we can keep it just for fun,so it won't influence gained performances points)
-enough teams(not a big problem)

i hope this will become possible one day,but for now i think it's impossible.anyway my team will be there

EDIT: i gave a look to reserve teams' list:we have 11 teams waiting an empty slot LOL
