I'll take a look at it then. The track is very nice, but that part is really tricky. I can hardly make up the 100 meters sign because of the shaking of the car.

Great tracks! thank you. love Barcelona

But i have some issues with Monaco. right before Rascasse, the DAT file does not match the road. I mean, the road is not where it appears.

Anyone else have this issue? I got the file from 4shared.

if you have patience i'll fix this bumping problem soon and do a better version of .dat (elevation, banking, ect) and some other little stuffs for 2008 version and then, in agree with ed "SchueyFan", we'll do a 2009 version after F1 GP

bye :)

Ah cool. I'll just go ahead and run the GP I need with the current version and then wait for your new version :)

It reads them from the file and then rebuilds the gp4info.
But if it is blank in TSM (ergo: you cleared the box), it will get deleted.
Is that ok?

No, because today we set split positions and lap number directly in the .dat file with GP4Builder. If TSM-magic data has blank boxes it also clears these three values in the .dat file, which is bad. When the boxes are blank nothing should be changed concerning these values...they should npt be set blank...they just should not be changed at all.

TSM only touches bump table, magic data and gp4info parts of the dat.
I think Gp4builder stores those settings in the gp4info part.
But Lo2k seems to have a slightly different interpretation of the header of the track compared to cmagic and tsm
Offset x0A in tsm and cmagic is EOF excluding gp4info + checksum, whereas in gp4builder it seems to be just EOF excluding checksum.
So tsm fails to read the gp4info part of files saved with gp4builder and thinks it's not present, then when it rebuilds the data, it leaves out the old gp4info.

Now I've added a second check to detect gp4info for files saved with gp4builder and those 3 values are then maintained in the gp4info part.

Of course I could skip empty fields, but what if you actually do want to clear values? Then there would have to be some kind of interface to manage that, which isn't really necessary imho. Unless you convince me otherwise :)

Well, when GPxPatch crashes, notepad should open up and show you some stuff. That stuff that's in notepad is what you need to copy and paste and then post it here :)
