lol.. indeed it would make 11 tyre manufacturers if Firestone werent owned by Bridgestone.

But gp4 only allows 2 manufacturers :P

The only way to make that is to paint the brand on tyres with a GPG Superleague logo (kinda like Formula-Simracing.net does), and paint all 11 brands in our cars, team owners choice :P

also, this is an idea for later on in the series but why don't we have a thread just for driver transfers and people looking for drivers so then they don't have to looking through this whole thread or going to find the guys with a spare seat in their hands and such

that could be on the freewebs site.

There's no need for that, I will continue updating the first post with team bosses interested in drivers and interested drivers.

just to confirm the kbr driver lineup its myself in the first seat and keeley in the second

Change in ownership at Phoenix Racing

Today Ricardo van Smirren could announce that he took 60% of the shares in Phoenix Racing. The remaining 40% will stay with founder of the team Philip Oakley. on the other side of that Philip Oakley takes 100% and complete control of the Minardi team thats on the reserve list at the moment.

"I am very happy to be owner of a team again. Im looking forward to the next season as its the build up of something toally new" Ricardo went further quoting: "I wanna thank Philip for this oppurtunity and ill do everything to bring him in contact with the others. And make him ready to own a team in the series for mabey already next year?".

Philip was not here to give a reaction yet but it was announced that he keeps a vital role in the team and will be giving a shot in painting the car.

About the engines and the tyre choice nothing has yet been announced. At the drivers front however theres total knowledge of whats going to happen. Slovenian Marko Aleksander will be the team leader for this years campaign. He will be backed by the english founder of Phoenix Racing, Philip Oakley.
