What did you use to render that Spidey?

3DS Max with Vray or Brazil?

3DS Max 2009 with Vray 1.50 SP2

Bit of a silly question but i cannot find the option anywhere, how do i get a white background?

It's driving me nuts.

Well, we can't help you. If you are following that guide, it's supposed to go right. When you say you did follow it, we can't figure out what you did wrong, for you..

Secondly, being really mad in such an early stage, will not predict any good when you get further..

That is the light reflection
Glass actually reflect lights :P
