I should explain my problem better..

I wanted to render the Ferrari 248F1. So I associate all textures to the car in zmodeler.
Now is my question in which format should i save it, so that I can render it in Blender. And should I add the tyres in the zmodeler or in blender?

I think you need to put the car and tyres into zmodeler, associate the textures and export it as .3ds :)

You then just import it into Blender.

Im trying to learn to render atm aswell but all i do at the moment is rubbish one's ;)

Lovely render! I've always liked cars from 2001.

Spidey, it looks like you have the same rims for both front and rear wheels.. It doesn't look right to me. I think you have to look for the right rims

Otherwise, great materials!

Can someone explain to me in a PM or write a kind of thorough guide regarding how to do renders?

I looked at that website and it's not clear. What I would like is a tutorial specifically on how to render GP4 cars.

Why not try google...? Well, I don't have the time, and certainly don't want to write a detailed tutorial for you, so you can make images of cars for games. How do you think Raul, me and others learned rendering? Yes, by trying over and over again.. Maybe you'll be lucky and find someone who wants to write you a guide, but I don't think so.

Try google, all the possible rendering communities, sites etc, and when you have something going, we'd be glad to help you out.

I can't understand how you can ask us to write you a guide, damn.. Just try searching.. And, when you have already, search again.. It's impossible to have seen everything..

I did a Quick-step guide to render F1C-GP4 cars... if that does not help you... I think we cannot help... as ALL the base is described there. Also, if you don't have any idea of any 3D Program (zModeler, 3DS) we cannot make a guide how 3DS works... that is impossible.

So please, read it 1000 times... don't try others do the job for you.

There alot of Books you could buy and learn it yourself.
Otherwise Books could help you to learn more as only rendering.
