Awesome Raul, would you mind telling me your settings in VRay and how long you need for this render? I'd like to make such realistic renders, too :)

The settings, just the same as I've been using for years, tweaking. Use vRayPhysicalCamera, as you'll get better results. And just tweak by yourself.

Time? Render done in just one hour :P

I think this will be the last one with the R26... was the scene I tweaked, so the car stayed...

Great render raul.But how come some brands from a sharp angle are blurry?

So, i did also one. Not reali happy with the result...its manageable.

@Daniel
Wich brands do you mean, the ones on the nose?
I have the same problem at my renders that some brands are blury in a certain angle but i dont have a solution for that :S

BTW: Awesome render, love the materials :)

Maybe changing the image filter? I know that in games you have to change Bilinear to Trilinear (SP) or Anisotropic to get sharp textures in sharp angles. It's just about filtering, so maybe the image filter is the problem/solution? I always use Blackman, it's pretty sharp though with smooth edges. Didn't see it on my renders, although I didn't render textured cars (F1's) for a while.

BTW, nice render Daniel. The only thing I think is that the shadow under the car is too transparent. It just isn't there enough.. Make it stronger and it'll look better I think

I never have this problems with textures. Im using Vray Sp2. @Raul: Thats a issue i didnt looked about, but besides that, i didnt wanted to get the car itself into much to this color enviroment. The color reflexion of the car itself goes lightly into blue. But i will remember your advice the next time, thx.

try to work with more then one light source.. That way you'll get some brighter shadows in some area's..
