Anders doe je ff niet zo kortzichtig. Je snapt toch zelf ook wel dat ik geen tijd heb om iedereen een PM te sturen? Dat de W300 ineens weer terug is, is totaal spontaan. Het werd een beetje opgezet en steeds meer mensen gingen meedoen. Ook nieuwe mensen. Je kan hun moeilijk zeggen 'ja sorry maar je mag niet meedoen want misschien willen de oude mensen hun team wel terug'. Dit is niet meer de W300. Dit is iets anders, iets nieuws. Alles gaat overnieuw, teams, perfs, alles. Dus worden teams opnieuw ingeschreven. Wie het eerst komt, wie het eerst maalt, zoals het altijd is geweest. Toen zijn er ook geen mensen geweest die vonden dat we maar in de hel moesten branden omdat ze te laat waren, maar jij vindt van wel omdat je een team had in een kampioenschap dat niet meer bestaat. Beetje krom, denk je niet?

I say single too. It's a lot easier that way.

@ ThunderDesign - Why don't you add yourself to the Waiting list? or become a driver?

I think what is making people angry is that this new series is being discussed in the W300 thread.

it is an entriely NEW series which is not linked to the old ones in any way. There is no preference in favour of W300/WGP members just as there is no preference for new members. everyone can still take part as a driver if not as a team manager

22. Er zijn ook nog mensen uit de WGP. En als je elf teams over 22 mensen moet verdelen, lukt dat dus niet. Dus moeten we maar zien wie het eerst is. En als je eerst was, heb je geluk en anders dus niet en kan je op de reservelijst gaan, maar als jij dat niet wil, moet je dat zelf weten, daar ga ik niet over.

It's odd that there is no enthusiasm and/or interest anymore for the w300, but strangely there is the need for a new serie.

Why not carry on with the w300 with some minor alterations?

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

Because half the field wasn't interested anymore. The other half would be new and would therefore face a big performance disadvantage.

Shame that the half of the field that still was interested didn't get a PM if they like to join the new series as a teammanager, me included.

If they were that interested, they could've looked every now and then if there were new posts.

Also, you keep saying you wanted a PM, but after GPG died and you came back for the first time, all the seats were already taken. That would've been the very moment you'd have seen you'd have a PM. Then you would still have been too late.

You can keep saying you wanted a PM, but it hasn't happened and nobody thought about it, so stop ranting on me only, as if it's only my fault you don't have a team.

No one was willing to continue running the W300. The onyl conditions anyone wanted to run a series was if they could create a new series which would be less hassle, better racing and more managable. Hence; a new series is born.

Nick, I can paint cars :p. I vote for the current w300 shape, and I'll keep my team livery.

I will take one of the driving spots since WGP is gone, once all teams are set I will get another driver to join me. As I wrote several pages back, I suggest we all have same performance (16256, 1024) and have it be the same for race and quali. For each point gained you decrease a point in the RANGE, for every 5 or so points gained you increase quali/race perf by 1. It should keep things very close and still allow for many winners and not have things be boring.

Just so you know, might be another few days before I am online again, after 2-3pm tomorrow :p.

I agree with what GUI said to behonest.Sounds like a good plan.

Increasing perfs by 1 on 16256 isn't gonna make any difference.

And PLEASE post your ideas in the other thread, having two threads is mighty confusing
