You are too far ahead! The entire series is only in development status. We first need to sort out the system, calendar and such. We need this to be organized. The best way to do that is doing things step by step. And you are twelve steps ahead of us ;)
We also need to get our friends in high places back (Mortal and the such) who can run the series again, if they want to.

As for the calendar, I'd like to see the A1-Ring dropped in favour of Zandvoort and Rio :P

And I'd like to enter a team too.

TEAMS
1. Paul Willins' Team (Team Name TBC)
2. G.A.R (Gaulty)
3. Double F (DJ Rotty)
4. Gui Racing
5. Phoenix Racing (msater)
6. KBR (kizz)
7. JW Racing (John_Warrington)
8. SF1 (MikeyS)
9. Nickv's team (Team name TBA)
10.
11.

You forgot RaltWest. Obviously because you are too scared of our drivers!

Wouldn't we need to first discus rules, finalise the calnedar etc?

I'd say we use an existing carshape, rather than creating a new one and have a 'spacey' calendar, with gaps of three weeks between races, because it turned out in WGP that races couldn't be run on time due to lack of time. With three week breaks, that should be solved.

Not with you ;)

@Nick, three week gaps sound good but realistically the race director is not gonna spend three weks making a race weekend, they'll just wait til the very last minute and do it all in one weekend - hence why me especially and all other race directors never posted on time. I think two weeks is fair enough, it's easily enough time and means people don't lose interest between races.

Btw - how annoyed am I to come back from Brands and see all the team spots have gone... can you really have a series without Team Shadow ;)

Yeah, that was the main problem of my suggestion. So, it was all the directors fault eh? Naughty boy :P

We should keep the non-F1 weeekends as GPGSL (or whatever this is called ;)) weekends, I think. With the odd three week break when there are back-to-back F1-races.

yeh, definately, the races CANNOT overlap the F1 because it is simply impossible to watch a GP and run this thing in one weekend. It's also impossible to run this thing and have a job and/or social life but I'll let the new RD sort that one out ;)

Oh yeh just had an idea - What if we had Qualifying one week, then the race the next?

One again stressing the fact that I have experience of running over 30 races this would definately make the job easier for the race Director and it might help to keep the interest if you have something beibng posted regularly

Mind, that'd mean a three week break, if you'd want to keep your F1-weekend free.

it wouldn't matter so much as you'd have all weekend to post just one session which would be a lot easier so then the series could overlap with the F1. So you could run the session on the Saturday then do the posting on the Sunday after the GP, of course the RD would have to decide if this was viable. Perhaps Quali could be the F1 weekend then the Race when there is no F1

He's not running this thing, just running the races. The running of the series will be done by smarter people ;)

As far as I'm concerned there's still one spot left.
