will be released when it's ready Matador ;-) but to answer your question I don't think so as these guys are perfect carmakers and they won't release it till it's perfect :)
Both shapes are great and can't wait to see them finished but even if I can't wait I'm doing it ;)

@nic and oggo: Will you guys be able to do different driver suits for the car like they had for monaco(michael) and brazil(felipe)?

usually, most cars seem to have a driver body shared for each driver, so i dont know if this will be implemented...

you really can't what for the car, SamF1?

and i'm sure it's possible to have different driver suits for bot cars, you just add both suits to the tex files and then re-map the driver suit on the carshapes.

Yeah I can't see why this can't be done, it might take a bit of effort but surely can be done? I mean, don't the tex files have seperate areas for the mapping of the car numbers? So all that needs to be done is to draw the different suits in and map them?

OK I'm not a car shaper/painter but from what I know this shouldn't be that hard. Unless it is a fiddly process and would take a disproportionate amount of time.

or just a different tex file for each car instead of remapping the suit..

Yes, but two 2048*2048 .tex files is huge for both PO and loading time...
