I had a very strange moment at a 100% race at Monza. I had for 6.7 laps fuel, I crossed the finish and the engine stops and there is no fuel any more.. In 1 sec or something 6.7 laps of fuel gone.. And it was way too early for my first pitstop. So anyone a idea about this?

The problem with CSM restoring the 2005 mod is fixed with the latest CSM update.
It was a small mistake (by me) causing the problem.

@chege & M.Guenette - its common for new tracks to crash on exit. I don't think anyone knows why it happens, but atleast it happens after and not before you play.

@RRoobbiinn - its to do with the fuel consumption values in the magic data. I'll look into it, but if you can give more info (which tracks, what lap, etc) it will help :)

@b-tone

I have some problems with the f1graphics files of the 2005 and the 2006 mod.

The 2005 mod uses the default f1gfx file in the gp4 directory, and the 2006 mod uses its own.

I first installed the 2005 mod, and altered the gfx settings in the default gp4 gfx editor in game (before installing the 2005 mod, actually)

After that, i installed the 2006 mod, and copied the f1gfx file from the default gp4 directory (which is also used by the 2005 mod) to the 2006 mod. The 2006 mod is fine now, but after i did this, the car shadows of the 2005 mod are gone (i used them at low settings), and when i set them to high, the shadow of the frontwheels flicker, like they are projected by 2d tyres with 3d settings, except that the tyres themselves are working fine.

My question: does the 2006 mod also influence the f1graphics file in the main directory? If yes, is it also possible for the 2006 mod to use only the main f1graphics file, like the 2005 mod, instead of it's own?

Tony, et al -

After testing v2.0, I'm really impressed with everyone's work on this modification for GP4. It's great and extremely well done. Wow!

Hey jxeboy!!
Well I for solve this problem I did the following one.
First do a copy of security of the file f1graphics.cfg, of the paste C: \Program files\Infogrames\GrandPrix 4.
You are going to need to have another file f1graphics.cfg, can be of the own one MOD 2005, or of the MOD 2006 (of preference), or another that you have deed download.
You are going to open this new file f1graphics.cfg (associated to the block of notes), select everything and copy. It files the block of notes. Open the files f1graphics.cfg, of the paste C:\Program files\Infogrames\GrandPrix 4, selects everything and bonds.
Cheers the modifications and see worked.

Theres no trackpack for 2006 yet but there is a 2005 one on [www.gp4db.com]
You can also download some 2006 tracks there and install them via TSM.

About PLUS, look here: [www.grandprixx.com]
Its basically a system where tracks use standard pit objects so swapping textures is easily done with TSM. So adding 2006 pit textures to a 2005 track is simple for example.
