Thanks for all the nice comments people, and it did take a (much too) long time, but its out now, finally :)


can we use those two beta tracks outside mods.
At the moment they're just in the trackpack, maybe they'll be released seperately later but its not up to me. You can install the pack and extract the tracks normally.

Will it be availible at GP4 Italia because everytime I download from GP4DB.com the download always crash's and I have to wait til whatever it is I'm downloading is availible somewheres else.
Not sure. Try using a download manager - Opera for instance has one built in.

no problem anymore got it working seems like the problem was that montreal2001_pitverge.bin was named totally wrong inside the .wad ...it was named something like _montreal2001_pitverge.132.
I renamed that so it wouldn't be used as the track doesn't need it. I guess that caused a problem that TSM manages to fix. But you should use the track without that pitverge.bin

2005 MOD use it own f1graphics.cfg...
It doesn't actually. I stopped that as it caused too many problems. Now it uses your default .cfg, which I guess will cause just as many problems, but we'll see :)

I have the same problem and there's no info in the readme on how to fix it

i think its because in the original wad, the ferrari cars are named hi_ferrari_1 and so on; So i think thts why it might be using the original textures with the F2005 try to work the car in a wad with out the original ferrari textures and i think you'll know wt your problem is. :)

Just two small things - most of the cars on the grid are all white. My machine is well capable of handling the game and runs the 2006 mod with no problems at all. And idea what's causing this and how do I fix it?

Also, every time I launch CSM now, a message appears telling me that "Your exe is not an original exe. You have modified your executable with GP4Tweaker and possibly other tools. Install a new fresh exe." - How do I do this???

white cars problem might be due to 'wrong' settings in game.
go to the graphics menu in gp4 and set resolution textures to high.
when you want to use lower resolution textures, then adjust the configurables in csm.

to make sure you have a clean exe and wad (which CSM requires) then you can go to the DLL folder where CSM is installed and run PatchDownloader.exe to install the 9.6 patch with decrypted exe and optionally a clean cars.wad

Done and done. Worked a treat. I usually let the game calibrate the graphics itself, but I manually set the resolution textures to high and it's fine now.

Bahrein track crashed at lap 11, this is an old problem of this track that it was not solved in the mod.

Also posted at the official forum but perhaps some one here might be experiencing the same problem or offer some suggestions.

When I installed the new 05 mod (installation was OK no problem for both the mod and the track set) but when I try and play the game through CSM it crashes back to desktop on load. The GPx load does come up after a quick look, it says something about GP4.exe having the wrong symbol. So after it crashed again I tried again, no luck but now CSM claims it has the wrong gp4.exe and I need to install a new one. Which I do, but still crash to dekstop.

It is strange because I am already using the 06 mod and no problems at all same as 1988,1986,1991, GP2 and a few others and all work perfectly. I am using the latest CSM so I am really baffled, a restart didn't help. I than installed on my notebook and all is good, just trying to work out why it is not running on my desktop machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

Assuming in a near future all the tracks will work well, like Bahrein and Montreal with problems solved, what's the procedure to run a champ with all 19 tracks? As, in the game, it continue to appears only 17.

Great mod guys. But I am finding the mod undriveable. When ever I brake and turn into a corner the car just spins. Even happens at low speed. Anybody else having the same problem? any ideas?
