Zaz, please can you let me know the solution to this? I cannot get the latest CSM from the updates option in the new CSM Beta and I can't run the 2006 mod as a consequence. Nobody has bothered to reply in the forum:

Thanks very much,

Paul

I've tried this, but it has no effect. I still get the error message about needing the updated version.

Am I doing something wrong?

Most likely your firewall (or perhaps proxy server) prevents updater.exe to download a list of the latest versions.
Try to reconfigure or disable your firewall to update.
Also note that the "UpdatePath=.." line is case sensitive. So "UpdatePath=HTTP://files.vadertrophy.com/zaz/csm/1.26/Update/" is different than "UpdatePath=HTTP://files.vadertrophy.com/zaz/csm/1.26/update/"
the last think i can think of is that you have a download accelerator which messes things up.

Thanks Zaz,

The Firewall was creating the problem. It was blocking the updater, without notifying me that it was doing so.

I've got the update now and the mod works first time. Great!

Thanks

Paul

Hi

First, thanks for this great mod.

I would like modify onboard cameras.
In "The mod's configurable", I get "GP4Tweaker: Real time editing" on "Enable". I'm able to modify settings in game, but when I leave, settings are not saved.
How can I save those settings ?

Thanks.

I added the ferrari from e-schumi to the mod, but the wheel isnt in the right position. Teameditor doesnt work, so i started looking, and i found a file called steerpos.cfg . If I am right, this contains the coördinates of the external steering wheel positions. Now my question is: What are the good coördinates for the wheel to use it on e-schumi's 248f1?

Y= -12
Z= 10

No it says:

schumacherM = 0.0000, -0.0330, -0.0070
massa = 0.0000, -0.0330, -0.0070

Try this:

schumacherM = 0.0000, -0.0550, -0.0640
massa = 0.0000, -0.0550, -0.0640

@matthill - its a known problem. What i do is use fraps to take screenshot of changed settings, then copy them to the ini files. The key next to 'L' should bring up the data

@Paul - great to hear :)

It should do.
My processor is about 1ghz i think, and its ok.
You can choose high, standard or low resolution textures, turn mirrors on/off and some other things so its easy to make changes until you're happy

Outstanding mod Tony et all. It has re-kindled my passion for GP4 once more. Everything works just as it should but foe one small prob(mine). I would like to insert my name where Masa is. I have edited it in game and saved/over written DNames but when gp4 is restarted Masa's name is there again. How can I insert my name to stay there all the time?

Thanks again Tony.

or just use the 'my profile' plugin in csm under the 'extra stuff' tab.
fill in your name and select the driver number. optionally you can also select your picture and own helmet textures.
to inlcude your profile in a mod, simply rightclick the mod in the list and enable 'use custom profiles'
