I'm sure that a lot of people will be happy if you release a tex
in 1024 x 1024.

2048 x 2048 kills GP4 performance and blows up the cars.wad

Not really, the hi_tex is 2048x2048, but the normal one is 1024x1024, if you're that worried about performance (my PC is a dinosaur and I don't have any trouble with it) then just use the standard texture, copy it and rename it hi_tororosso.tex

I downloaded the Montreal tex and there was only a hi tex.
But if the German Version will include normal tex you and Gezere will make
me happy

OK the next Add-on will include new tex files in 1024x1024 for all the liveries.

BUT is it really too difficult to do it by yourself ??
if you have some problem with the current size, Only one tool is necessary: Lo2k's TexResizer.

i've told him often to do it by himself, but he is to lazy and he want's only other ppl to work for him.

yes, it is easy - and we have told him several times!

you can also use GP4Master to use a smaller tex, just downsample the largest file, then extract the 2nd largest file in the list to a tga, then overwrite the largest file with the tga and downsample again.

i'll be trying for bigger resolution as i don't have any membership in F1 sites ,so i am finding diffcult to get them but there are few which u can see them

not exactly the same wing they are using , i think they are different, as u can see the difference in 3rd and 4th pictures.

Yes they copied their new rear wing from the GP4 str2 (Maikel's RB2) LOL....

It looks like exactly the same.

I changed the str1 for my personal use with Maikel's rear wing because they used already it early in the season.

Well I didn't notice the rear fin, I'll tweak that later, but a quick edit of everything else gives me this:




Still needs a bit of work, normals mainly on the front fins, but otherwise it's getting there
