Right, since gezere's up and left, I've opened a new thread which I have control of to give you updates on the shape.

It's unlikely that there will be a "full package", and I have serious doubts that gezere will map and paint the car as he said he would in an email he sent me yesterday. I will wait until I have finished the shape, then find out what's going on. Since it's likely I won't be able to get hold of him, I will be hunting for someone else, I have contacted one or two people already in the event of this, but we'll see when it comes around.

Here's where it's currently at:

At the moment, I have the aero parts to do, the underside of the car, suspension and diffuser. Not too sure about the headrest either, but it doesn't seem too bad.

Hope you like it so far, it's at roughly 9,000 polies atm :)

Thanks :)

I need a bit of help with the sidepods. I can't really tell what happens to them as they head towards the back of the car. I want to know whether they are meant to be scaled in (as they are now), or if the curve just continues backwards. My library of shots hasn't really got a particularly good angle of it.

Help would be great, I might even be able to get it finished before I head to Cornwall next week :)

wow, looks great Zep

The trouble with the toro rosso is that that the paint is very dark making it very difficult to see those little sorts os features but i would imagine it would be very similar to the red bull

Nice job!
I can't really tell if the shape is correct because the livery hides to much of the car.

@Enzo: You're right actually, the tip is more rounded, it's already fixed ;-)

@Erix: You see my problem too eh? ;) Think I might have it now, it seems to follow round, and then as the back of the engine cover joins the main part, it scales into the back :)

A small update for you guys :)

I'm in Cornwall this week, but gezere has started mapping the car, and I'll have new clay renders of the final shape, plus full renders when the car is painted so that you can give me your final feedback before the car is released on this site :)
