STR1 - RELEASED fix and redownload on p18

Friend:

I downloaded the pack with the last fix (P 14) and it continues crashing to the desktop when change cameras is done.

If you copy Lod0 and use it as Lod1,2,3 and 4 etc. Then it works fine. Car looks great in game.

tried the new fixed pack, everything works fine in all views, and mirrors work fine in t-cam view, thank you very much! no CTD's.

strange , i don't have problem even in second fixed version also. howcome some of them getting CTD.using lod0 only here

As I said earlier, use lod0 only for now until / if we find out what's causing this problem

Well just come back and happy to see that a solution has been found to use the car with only lod0. however it's not a definitive solution and we have to investigate why the game crash for some of you using all lods.

As Beta tester, Zep and me don't get the problem, we need your help.

So we know that:
- if only lod0, is used it's OK
- if lod0 is copied as lod1, 2, 3 and 4 it's OK

So Lod0 seems definitively OK. and we have to find what is the "crap" lod.

So next steps must be :
1)use original lod0 as lod0
use original Lod1 as Lod1, 2, 3 & 4 and do a test

if it's OK, pass to the next step. If not lod1 is the problem

2) use original lod0 as lod0, and original lod1 as lod1
use original lod 2 as lod2, 3 & 4 and do a test.

if it's OK, pass to the next step. if not lod2 is the problem

3)use original lod0 as lod0,original lod1 as lod1 and original lod 2 as lod2
use original Lod3 as lod3 & 4 and do a test.

if it's ok it's surely lod4 the problem, if not lod3 is the problem

Hmmmm it's may be a long process, but it's for me the alone way to find quicly what is the "crap" lod and to investugate it.

Of course only guy who are getting ctd can do it. Is somebody ready to do it ?

for all my cars, I use LOD_0 for LOD_0, LOD_1 for LOD_1, and the lods 2, 3 and 4 from the default game.

@bernard and tom, just ran lod 4, both cars, and i get a ctd, every lod in the pre releae beta works fine, from lod 0 to 4, bundle those and release them, job done

hey guys, i've just tested all the lods like gezere said, and 1-4 make the game crash, its not when i switch to t-cam but to tv cam, it happens with the original and the fix, with and witout debug on gpxpatch, hope that helps

the reason for some people's CTD is maybe that in lod 4 there is only 1 object and it's named cockpit_low , I think there should be all the orginal objects like in all the other lod's.Anyway I havent had any CTD

Just tried the fix and I don't get the CTD. But I did notice a bug. When in TV cam (camera not
pointing at the STR) the right front wing does not show up. It did not get in an accident.
Is it just me?
