Press Release
Earlier today, news flooded down the wireless that Ebi Motors driver Nick Ovey had won a Poll Tax. This led to considerable confusion at the Aldershot Red Lion, leading one seasoned observer to remark "bloody Liberal Democrats". However, some three hours later, one of Ebi Motors' highly paid researchers discovered Nick Ovey had actually won Pole Position at Monza. Whilst Ebbie Attard had managed third on the grid.

Hugo Largetrousers, the team's lawyer at large described a feeling of 'unparalleled euphoria once the injection commenced' whilst discussing something else. Although not everyone was happy, Mrs Muggins, CEO and President of Mrs Muggins' Pie Shop in Aldershot was most vocal in her opposition. "Bloody poll tax evaders, Ovey must burn!"

In an emotional Press Conference at the track, Nick Ovey had kind words to say about Ebi Motors. "****** team ***** steering wheel collapse **** you ******* Largetrousers ***** exploding engine **** you! ****** joke clutch?! Joke clutch?! Why you little son of a ****, ***** sofas!"

Angus McBarnes, once a joke clutch himself, added his thoughtful evaluations. "Hahaha! The Press! Losers! Press releases, winners!" he screamed before jumping out of a window.

Italian Grand Prix

Dont forget to check the website for updated championship standings, driver and team stats as well as all the news stories and reviews throughout the week at [www.freewebs.com]

The cars line up on the grid with Nick Ovey on pole for the first time as the lights go out!

Attard flies off the line to snatch second from Turnbull

The chicane is very busy but it looks like everyone is through safely

Turnbull dives back through to retake second

Byron van het Bolscher is also looking racey in the EA W300

He's held up and Panker takes a look

But he couldn't get passed

He tries again into the chicane

Smirren and Pellatt both glide passed McLeod on the straight

We're on board Neil as Rayman passes Panker

Neil has lost concentration as Wood puts him under pressure

Panker is in a fighting mood but can't come back

Team mate Prins shows him how to do it

Wood stays calm and retakes the place however

Turnbull seems to be being left behind by Ovey

Wood has locked up and gone straight on at the chicane

...well that allows Prins back passed

Will Wood in the VDV won't accept defeat as he looks back up the inside

Prins has runn off the track

Disaster! He's been collected by Postma! That puts them both out

Pellatt has hit come of the debrees

He pits for a new nose cone

At the front Ovey is maintaining his lead

Bobby Neil dives passed Panker to take 6th

..And he is immediately onto Rayman, his EA team mate

He's through! Great driving

Panker tries to take advantage but is blocked

Garceau loses out to Smirren

The two SCRs are squabbling over 13th

Neither want to give in

but Bolt forces his way through at the chicane

Ovey is still looking strong in fourth

Bolt has now passed Garceau too

But the french-canadian won't give up easily

Attard looks like he's closing on Turnbull for 2nd

But he doesn't have enough time as Ovey crosses the line to take his and the team's first victory!

Just want to say, great job on the Pink thing. But I come out seeming like a bad guy when it says "Wood was dumped." I made sure he had a drive and nice contract before I loaned him out ;)

Looks like Turnbull is almost champion:

Turnbulll 201 + 25 = 226

Rayman 182 + 17 = 199

= 27 points

so Rayman must win and Turnbull must be 21st if Rayman wants to be a champ
If they are the same in points then Turnbull wins becouse he got more wins then Rayman

and the teams:

Senna 330 + 25 + 18 = 373

Ea 335 + 19 + 17 = 371

and the maximum you can take with one team is 50 poins so they both can be easily constructors champ, if they have the same in points then the one who wins in that race gets the title or if none of senna and ea wins then it comes down to the second places and then ea wins becouse they have 3 2nd places and senna only have 1 2nd place.
