Yermo RBR sold

Today Roberto Yermo has officially announced that he sold his team. The lucky winner is Kyran Brazier. The WGP Scolari driver who is currently 15th on the championship table, will be the new team boss.
Brazier: "I want to turn this teams fortunes around and bring in some good results. We will need to build on our success and hopefully challenge for race wins. Next years driver line-up and sponsors are yet to be finalized but already the team is looking promising."
Roberto Yermo was of course also at the press conference. He said: "I'm verry happy about what I did with the team. The fact I have a WGP team did 'change' a lot my interest about owning a W300 team."
While Brazier is still speculating about the driver line-up, Yermo revieled one of them: "I will be one of the drivers, it was part of the deal. I prefer to evolve as a single driver for now."
The teams new name hasn't been published yet, but The Press Inc. think it won't take long before they know it.

Signed,

The Press

The Press V2.0

The Press are proud to announce they have been updated. They have their own account now, just to make it easier for the public to see which are Press-posts and which are rubbish spam posts of a certain Nickv.
Head of The Press, Rudolph Reporter said: "We are very proud we have this major update. I am sure we can function even better now. The biggest plus of all this is, of course, we don't have to put our signature in manually. This will save a lot of time, and because time is money, we will be rich in a few weeks!"
Janitor Harry said: "Yeah this is very noice innit? I hope that I'll get a raise now. If they can pay this, then, hell I'm sure they can pay a raise for me, whoo!"

Signed,

The Press

I'm intrigued to know what the new team may evolve into and hopefully it won't lose that serious yet jokey value that Yermo RBR brought to the paddock.

Also it's nice to see 'The Press' has now got a more defined image which should make it easier for people to follow

Hang in there, we are trying to find out what is going on.

Here is the W300 Race Directors final 06 season calendar update. It should be on the W300 site as well. So those of you that thought it was almost in the bag and a done deal had better get back to the garage, there's still a lot of points up for grabs. The extension of the season was to bring into line with the WGP the total number of races over the season.

10th September = Monza
24th September - Belgium, Spa (delayed one week for Monza race)
8th October - Brazil, Interlagos
22nd October - Japan Suzuka
5th November - China, Shanghai
19th November - Malaysia, Sepang

and from pit lane
Next season there will be a fixed BHP for all teams, (undecided amount) as per the current rules teams and drivers will still have their range and ability adjusted after each race. A team's total driver points will still be allocated to the team as constructor championship points. Otherwise the points system remains unchanged.
There is almost a full grid confirmed for the 07 championship which will commence in January, a calendar is currently being worked on.
There will be also be a Christmas Race, a precurser to the main season, no points or perf changes for the event.
thats about it for now, bring on that race ;-)
