San Marino Grand Prix Qualifying

After the excitement and controversy of yesterdays practise session, few would have expected sucha thrilling qualifying...

Bolscher was first out on track

As they emerged from the pits, Attard was very close to the back of Panker and followed him round the track on their flying laps.

Jo Pellatt was the early pace-setter

Bobby Neil came out early but lacked speed

Paul Willins chipped a little off of Pellatt's time

Turnbull came from no where to set a brilliant lap time

Rayman followed him closely but couldn't quite match the time

The SCRs were struggling and would not fight for the top positions

Luke Russell couldn't trouble the leaders but did get ahead of team mate Greidanus

Wood came out late and was a long way off Turnbull's pace

Wrekenhorst was not as fast as she was yesterday

Vivalidi-Sanchez proved he did have some true pace

Guido Prins was outpaced by his team mate, Gergo Panker

Kittleson beat tea mate Smirren and bagged himslef a top ten position

McLeod struggled here and will start the Grand Prix from last on the grid

Turnbull therefore showed his dominance once again here by taking pole position, but would Rayman be able to stop him from taking the win? It will be tough, so far everyone has won the race from pole.

The poll on whether pit stops should be held at every race is now closed, the results showed an outstanding majority of people for pitstops at every race and so this is the way it shall be held from now on.

@Roberto, I think it's normally qualifying that lets you down so Jo may be able to get a pretty good result for you here

Ricardo is said to be verry disappointed with the result of this race.
'11th isnt exactly where i hoped for, but hey at least Dean scored some valeuable points for the teams championship'

well at least i have maked up two places after start
Byron van het Bolscher is dissapointed: The car was ondersteering while he was oversteering , dont ask me how but i managed to finish , didnt espect that with this setup

w00t 8th place!!! Yeeeehaaaaa!!! Great race congrats for the winner! :)
@JonnyA, check your PM :)

Sad race, bad start and again a bad pit stop strategy.

Otherwise a top four result was realistic, cos i had the second fastest lap of the race.

All and all, no luck in races. :(

Solid result for Kurt and nice race by Will, gained a few places. I hope we get a win next round and a strong finish from the other driver.
