Mews snapped at Oulton Park

Just short after the news that Robert Mews will be driving for Scolari W300 next season, he has been photographed in Oulton Park driving a Scolari WGP car already in his own personal color. This would also mean that he is not only the number 1 driver for Scolari W300 but also test, and probarly reserve, driver at Scolari WGP.

When he stopped after a few laps the press, which followed mister van Eldik to Oulton Park, was hurrying to Robert Mews to get a reaction of this ''shakedown''.

Press: Hi
Mews: Hy
Press: How did it feel to drive with the Scolari WGP test car?
Mews: Well, first there's a big potential in the car. It was my first test for the team
and with the WGP car and all i can say is: WoW "I'm lovin' it" and I really enjoy it to be a part of this team. It's unbelivable how much fun it is to drive this car.
Press: So you signed with Scolari W300..your happy about that?
Mews: Sure, if not, I hadn't signed for it Nothing could be better, and the team is great and also the atmosphere in it.
Press: Is there any chance we can see you in action this season?
Mews: Well, I don't think so, coz I need more tests with the car. But nothing is impossible, so we'll see
Press: Thank you for your time Robert and good luck next year.
Mews: Thanks too, I'll give my best for the team.

Yeh, the latest news for those of you who do not know is that MDB will not be able to complete the w300 shape.

We could therefore have the GP2 shape again, the champ car shape or something else? Any proposals are welcome and I'll create a poll on the website when we get some more suggestions

I'd also like to think about tyres for next season, the series is restricted to ONE brand of tyre which is currently Bridgestone but we could have slicks for next season (like the WGP) and change the make to whatever they have (thoughts welcome)

I cant stand that Champ Car shape, I really do!

I say stick with w300 shape, much less hassle, especially us with school and that, and everything is already currently based around it.

And the GP2 shape looks a lot less powerful than the WGP cars, which shows it's sort of the support series. The champ car shape just looks like another WGP car.

I mean, what is wrong with the GP2 shape? Nothing, no, so why make us put hours more into painting our cars?
