Whatever the GP4Builder version, track .dat has never been corrupted so far.
you can get error messages with latest versions but it's not directly due to the .dat but to external additional things (like new camera 3d markers or jip mapping) so
don't junk your .dat file !To read .dat files having these errors, waiting for new version that is fixing the problem, you can use
old GP4Builder 1.181 temporarily.
Conversion .dat to track is slow ? I didn't notice that and as far as I know, I havn't changed anything in .dat to .gp4 code but I will check that.
Concerning disappearing cars with given track cameras, it's because each original track slot has a given number of track cameras available. Thus if you put a track with 15 cameras in a slot only handling 10, you will get visibility troubles with the 5 latests cameras. (to know how many cameras handle each track slot, open each original .dat and check the camera number, its slot has the same amount).
There's no workaround yet but putting the track back to a slot handling enough cameras (usualy the original slot of the track).
