- extract all files from the .wad using something like Easywad
- convert all .tex files to .tga using Slimtex, so you can see the textures in Gp4 Editor
- convert your texture files to .tga and .tex
- either replace the original texture files by yours, or go into Gp4 Editor, and add the new textures to the list of textures, then go to the objects you want to give new textures to, and select the new textures.

gp4 exports whole track as a wrl file..
or...each individual part as 3ds ...

I have an annoying problem with adding track from dat with Interlagos, GP4Builder won't convert graphically the last pitlane sector.

This also occur with the Österreichring, is this a bug with GP4Builder or is this normal?

If so, how can i fix it?

anyone care to look at my dat file? I cant get the ccline acros the next bend. I've been out a while, but can't think of anything i'm doing wrong. I suspect is has something to do with the crossover but i looked at the suzuka track and couldn;t find anything i'd need to do to make it work.

I did a cc-line for the following bend, and didn't face anything weird. Not the best job in the world, but here it is:

And this is how it looks:

Jup, same scenery, hope i can make something half decent of it. have to use a bit of imagination and fantasy cause as it turns out there aren't very many buildings ingame past that first few :P

That's a nice layout, Dave, where did you get this idea from?

Hi there!

Mr. Maverick, that´s so glad to see you back!

I always would like to thank you personally, a GP4 legend!

Thank you so much!

Well thank you for all the kind words, i'm hardly a legend, only released one track for the game, it took ages to make and could be a lot better in retrospective :P

The idea came on me when i was just bored, i originally wanted to go backwards through the tunnel but there was no way i could reuse the original track for that and redoing all the segments it would be impossible to be as accurate as possible to make it decent so i had to make a bridge (e really bumpy one too :X ). I'll see if i can make it reasonable enough to release it maybe within a week.

If i recall correctly there was a track editing guide from Maverick or from jimbob1 which had a picture of the standard gp4 jip files with their corresponding jip id's, is there someone who still has that guide or that particular picture?
