@Carling: You can already remove the 3 last track sectors that are useless and rework the beginning of the track because all the fences in every directions might not help either.

Has somebody a previous version of GP4Builder? It seems that the current one messed up the verge widths of my Österreichring track, especially at the chicane. :(

@Turbo Lover: Well, you're somewhat taking the problem the reverse side because in fact, all past Gp4Builder version were displaying verges wrong because they were offset by 1 sector. I fixed it in latest revision but of course, if you made a track with heavy verge changes before, you will need to make some fixes.

Note that what you see in GP4Builder 1.1.0.8 is what you will "feel" ingame, and even if past revisions were displaying something fine, cars were in fact reacting to track as 1.1.0.8 is displaying it.

Sorry for the convenience.

Thanks for the explanation - I was wondering why they had shifted :)
I don't know if its known, but the kerb preview isn't visible in wireframe mode.

Thanks Laurent, but track sectors width and banks have still an offset of 1 sector, it can be confusing.

I have a problem with my new track

As you can see on the picture the last sector crosses the first sector a bit. Does this matter? Or can I play the track without any problems?

Okay, thanks for your quick awnser :). Now I can start with the pitlane, banks, CC-line etc. I have a lot to do, before I finish the .dat file. But I do it with pleasure and hopefully the result will be nice.

I think I will start my own topic this weekend. So you can see the progress of fourth Dutch track for GP4. :)

Use GP4Builder for creating land with 'fence builder' or use 3rd party software AutoCad and/or 3dsMax.

At least 33 sectors for the pitstalls (3 for each team), and some sectors after and before them to have a 1-sector offset between the flags. So, I would say about 40.

40 is too low, the entry and exit of the pitlane itself must also be smooth, you won't make it with 40 sectors.

Just built a layout

But now I want to connect the pitlane just before the final chicane. The problem is that I can't put it on the sector I identified as Pitlane Connect Start. How do I move Pitlanbe szector 1 to the correct location ?

Thanks
