The red square is the objekt for your google-picture.
the googlepicture convert to 32bit tga-file and place in the directory by your gp4-file.

more details are not possible, sorry.

greets

Download this file, i have your googlepicture in the gp4-file,
a tex-file from the googlepicture is not required.

make your new objekt even better by the dimensions in m of
the whole area captured on your google imagephoto
the dimension is now correkt for the trackbuilding, don't rezise the googlepicture or objekt

this is the last edit :-)

I have a slightly different problem with my self created track, the game crashes constantly at the loading. The only thing i know is, it happens for the dat file, because i've made some changes there, but i dunno what's wrong with the dat. Could someone please help me to find out what's the problem is?

here is the file

@dark listener...had a quick look...
the pit lane is above the track...ie...not connected to track..
the final few sectors of pitlane are twisted & stretched..
they won't be any use to you....the final track sectors are stretced as well...this will cause big problems..also..try to build the dat file nearer the centre a litte..

my advice....delete this & try again...practice & more practice.

the pitlane entry angle is too sharp...i'd delete this & start again..
& it seems you've reached the limit sector wise for gp4 tracks..
this why you stretched the final two sectors..??
& try to get the first & final part of the track to be in line ..

if i try to delete sectors up to final part of track..gp4 builder complains i've reached the limit....this can't be helpful.

you need to adjust the Z position of the start of the pitlane so it is level with the track.
It might be crashing because of GP4's length limit. Its 1500 sectors but might include the pitlane, and yours is about 1600+ all together

If i am right there was someone who made a 'standard' pitbuilding which can be used for a fantasy track.

Who knows who is the author and where to download?

Thanks and cheers
