Play GPL. Theres 3 layouts through the 70s and 80s

1948 - 1971 (GPL Layout)
1973 - 1979 (tightened the "chicane" at Panorama)
1980 - 1989 (tightened the "chicane" after Scheivlak)

Playing the GPL Version will get you most of the data needed

jpmfw, Papyrus made GPL, and yes, its avaible for stupidly cheap prices (a couple of quid)
