Yep, I can't download it either. Typical, I've been waiting for 9 days for my new broadband line to become active and when it finally does I can't download the new Shanghai - grrrr!

Well, I'd spontaneously suggest (on p5):

I also have the freeze when pressing ESC when not running in debug mode and I already asked ChrisJ for this file but haven't received an answer yet.

Does anybody else have this file and could sent it to me?

There is a bug in the pitlane.bin causing the crash at exit. The only suggestion i can give to you is run gp4 with debug mode enabled and level of verbosity set to medium.
this way work excellent for me.

i dunno why this bug is here and how to sort it,i've tried various solutions without any result.

happy driving.

Another problem:

Cars controlled by the computer have small accidents when they try to overtake in the close corner after the large straigth of the track.

This is very frequent, there are too many accidents, more than real overtakes.
but it's funny :)
When I put the track at the game the tracks: Interlagos, Indianapolis, Spa and Montreal get buggy (the cars fly around and there is nos tarmac).

The worst think is that when I put the original track back the problem continues. I have to download another decrypted GP4.exe to get the game running normal again.

Yes pankycamus, it's funny if it would happened 1 or 2 times per race. But it happens in 90% overtakes in that corner.

You know I'm not serious. At the 1st and second time it was funny but know it's annoying. I found an other bug that at 20% race in the last lap the half of the cars go out to the pit and the other ones run out of fuel. I have a program called CSFuel but I don't know how to use it. Could someone tell me?? Please.

@gohan

next time please try to write down my name correctly :) :P

Maybe it has something to do with cc-line (?). Well, I'm not expert, but I rebuild the whole cc-line for own use because I'm using keyboard and now in my opinion it's better and the cc-cars don't crash anymore. Of course there are sometimes a few collisions, but they are quite normal as on different tracks.

Hm...This is an exception because it's basically not my work (except my new cc-line) but it could be usefull for a test. Perhaps the amount of collisions will be reduced on your track, too.

Actually it would be interesting to talk to the creators, about maybe incorporating that to the package?

Well, there will be a new version anyway and they already mentioned that cc-line isn't perfect (e.g. in the last corner) so updates will follow. They've done such incredibly great work that they will solve this problem, too:)
