Is there a way to add the track to the list of tracks in the game, rather than replacing an existing one? I mean so we could go through the whole championship with 19 races, instead of being stuck at 17 as it is now?

What am I doing wrong? I followed the install method in the .txt file, but the cars just take off and follow, what seems to be the Indy route.

Just tried the track. Wow. Hardly any bugs I could see. Only ones I saw were minor ones I'm not too bothered about really. Driver's head was wobbling a bit on the grid, and the pit lane seemed a bit random. But just wow.

@voxle - if they are following the indy route, then you didnt insatallt he .DAT file.

if you're using the 2005 set then you may have problems. this track will come with the next update tho.

Yeah, I'm using the 2005 set.... had to rename the .dat file to 2005-Indianapolis.dat and it worked fine.

b-tone: It would be nice if you can show us how gp4 can handle more than 17 tracks. Not all people using the seasen sets - me included. Many people building their own - privat - set. Downloadable sets are not realistic enough for me, bad performanc settings for example (too slow...).

So please help them, who do not use this sets.

Zaz and shutt1e are doing it but it will be in the 2005 set soon hopefully, and it will be possible to do without CSM.

Recently i got in trouble for speeking my mind, but it's in my nature and i can't help that, so i'm going to do it again.
I've just finished a full race on this track and in my oppinion it is a work of art. It runs beautifully on my computer, it looks so much like the real thing it almost feels like you are really there.
As far as bugs go, the only one i really noticed was the way the car comes into the pits, that may need a little more work. Other than that, awsome!
Great work guys you've given this game a new lease on life.
I hope this is the first off many.

This is a day that lot's of gp4 fans have long waited for. finally this is what you can call a new track. well done to all involved in the making of shanghai 2004.How about writing a step by step guide to work alongside mavericks to help the rest of us mere mortals wanna be track makers produce something of this quality????
