What are you on about? How come you 'think' everyone uses Lod 0 only. Did they tell you?

Considering its only about the hi end 64 bit amd's or the 3.0ghz + P4's, I think the majority use all lods to be fair.

Anyway, great work Steve. Looking foward to the lower lods.

I´ve spoken from my experiences !
And I think the majority is using only the lod´s !
Especially in case of this age with high end computers !
I only have a standard pc,but it makes sense to use only these files...

Not all people have high end computers and prefer lod0 - lod4 !

Absolutely right, using only lod_0 doesnt really make it look that much better (since you can't see the detail anyway, lower lods done properly look just as good) but gives a massive performance hit.

No it doesn't make any sense atall. Save say 50 megs hd space (Say the average HD is now about 80 gb's, thats 0.0625% of you HD space) and get a massive performance hit that may reduce your FPS by 10+ frames / sec.

Sorry, but I really don't see you logic here.

i'd say most use all lods. and lower lods are something that sadly gets overlooked to often.
also using lod_0 only can cause other problems apart from high po
