gp4.gamer.nl 2004 carset [Release is imminent >p7]

There's a lot of news about the gp4.gamer.nl 2004 carset. I'm not going to tell any bad news this time :P So on to the good news.

There's only one car yet to be finished and that's the Renault. The shape is made by our friends Matt Schroeder and Nicola Acciarri. Bojan started on the textures but stopped halfway. He gave them to me three days ago and I decided to finish his work as far as my skills will carry me.

Now I need to sort out the lines, shadings and alpha's.

Last week Vincent Segers finished the loadingscreens. Here's an example:

The carset will be released as CSM in a few versions which are yet to be discussed. The one that's certain is the trackspec hi-res with 2004 track order.

It may be possible I forgot someone or something or misspelled or misplaced a name, it's not intentionally, just stupidity that comes with being 30+ Just let me know and I'll correct the list.

Great work . I can't wait to try this mod .That Renault looks great but what happened to Renault made by Erwin,Wai and Guyon ?

btw, even if it'S been a while, I'm still there for making individual onboard cams with Tweaker

@Fongu, Dahie is present in all the cars textures, he will be on the 'ultimate thank you' list. What part did BMWfan play?

man my name should be here to.. i put in alot of effort to criticizing Kevin and Ross

lol, i knew it was a bad idea letting me real name out

Wai tweaked the normals, nick remade alot of the bits the matt/nic originally did, altho some things like the 2004 brake discs are still there. Random bits like the mirrors are by bmwfan. Cant remember what else went into it, but Nick did pretty much all of the updating from the last version, so if you dont like it, blame him

yeah they locked me in a cupboard with a laptop while they went outside and played

Will there be new tyreshapes and textures with the carset or will it come with the orginals like last year ?

There's no new tyreshape. To be honest I have no idea if any good 3d or 2d rims were made last year. So if someone can point me to the best ones (I prefer 2d's) I'd be a happy man
