just about done, ive only got two textures left which ill try to find and update tonight, then ill upload hopefully tonight/tomorrow.

excellent work! ive not installed a high res track before but i know how to do it. i just wondered, how much extra strain does it put on the pc? is it alot more intensive or only alittle.

p.s. my pc reports that i can run the game at 58fps but when i do the game goes proper slow. when i drop it to say 35 then its nice and smooth. v odd.

no, havent done it yet but will definately finish tomorrow morning.

as for po hit, well there definately is one.
i run at 40 fps and rom cockpit view i ran a few lap race and got 40 fps constant
ie po less than 100 but from t-cam and especially from trackside cams theres so slow down. not sure why but this track seems to be a bigger po hog than any other ive done.

the other tracks ive done give me exactly the same po in both wet and dry, from cockpit view, as the original ricardos track on which i worked. i havent however compared this one yet with ricardos montreal 2004 unedited. but i reckon for some reason that the po will be a lot higher, as ive never had a frame drop in t-cam before now, maybe something to do with the long view distances on certain parts of the track.

I agree with the 1993(ish) track updates, with the higher kerbs and adverts of the period, which could be good enough for all mods from 1986, to 1995! o_O
