I got the same problem mrt. The problem with the helmets is the face of the driver. When i Download your helmets the face is on top of the helmet and not behind the visor, if you know what i mean. Its the same problem as the hi-res helmets. I am using carset creator 4 to install the helmets. Is not low-res when you don`t see the whole helmet?

@ Supadupa : it looks like a flipping problem :) just make a horizontal flip with youre tga and you may be ok then ;-)

I don't think you can do an horizontal flip with GP4master, if that's your question.
But you can do horizontal flip with paint shop pro, photoshop or even with MS paint on the tga file. and then export it with gp4master.

can i use wad inserter or wad updater to install your helmets?

my helmets are in tga format, so you have to convert them in tex first.

you can use carset creator, gp4master or helmet installer to install them.

you can use wad updater if you convert the tga files into driver_x_1.tex and driver_x_2.tex where "x" is the number of the driver in the game, but it's harder.

To convert them you can use Texeditor, carset creator, gp4master or helmet installer.

Here the method to convert tga in tex, but with carset creator, helmet installer you don't need to do that because when you export a tga, these soft convert theml automatically. But if you want to save my tga into tex on your harddrive, do that:

With carset creator: in the helmet area click on open tga then click on save tex and it's done.

With Helmet installer: do the same as above.

With gp4master: you need to decompile you cars.wad in a temp folder, then choose in it a driver tex file, then open it in the tex workshop. Click on replace selected file, choose your tga, then very important: click on downsample texture, and finally clic on save tex.

With texeditor: you need the plugin batch converter. choose tga to tex, clic on add file and choose all the tga you want to convert, then choose the output folder, and click on start it will convert all tga you choosed.

You see, it's easy.
