You need the GP4.exe provided if you want to get the cars in the right order in the game

is that new gp4.exe compatible with gpx patch? and which mclaren mp4-17d is that? i hope its not erwin's first mp4-17d.

Great job on the carset guys,looks great!!I'm pretty happy with what I have downloaded and installed previously but I do have a question-Is the Toyota a version 2 or is the same as the one available earlier?I'm still using your version 1.

Well all i have download it and installed it, try it out and i like a few things but the fully pack i don't like very much and when you want to uninstall it Omg. Make sure you all have backup from your game before you install this update if not you are so f***. First of all, the Helmets are fantastic very good job for the one that made it. Some cars are great others not, just my opinion, taste is different with everyone i know but Mclarn, toyota, ferrari, williams, there are better out. Also cockpit is i think original shape, if not i really don't like it, but i know it has been asking much effort, time, ... from you guys that i appreciate your work but i general don't like it sorry. I have uninstalled it and this i get in the menus. Once again just my opinion !

I seem to get the wrong link when i try to download the performance file, anyone else get that? I seem to get the 512 season set for some reason, but ive downloaded the full thing so its ok now.

Is it better than the update on the italia site i am using that one at the moment.

I can`t download any of these files ,I only get this message:


The requested URL /gp4/gp4gamernlcarset/gp4gamernlcarset512.rar was not found on this server.

I can't download any of the files, just a succession of 404 not found errors.

@steven ; Always backup and i think you need the install with the v9.6 patch and then install our carset. 2 bad you don't like it, but we can't satisfy everybody

Why affording the complete gp4.exe file ?
Is there anything wrong if you used a .car file (maybe with GP4Patcher for auto-instal). It would have decreased a bit the download, no ?

(About this, i'm still using a 56k so i havn't tried your season set yet but it looks great).

yeah gp4patcher should be used instead giving us the exe file ... because I like to use the exe that came with the megapatch by gp4italia ... it has 16 races only

@ Watercolours... it's erwin's 17d allright, with some small textures updates. If you don't appreciate that, just go and replace it with whatever you like...

About the gp4.exe... it might not be the best solution, but it works... so what are you all nagging about when it does work....
