After getting so much information and goodies from this forum i thaught that i should pay back with something.

So i post here a link with a new track made by me based in the original silverstone.

The track is entirely fictional and has some ups and downs and a high crossed passage (like an 8 shape track).

Hope you enjoy it!

Give me some feedback please it took almost a month of work !

i Have some questions for the experienced track editors:
1 - I'm making a long tunel (60 sectors) in other track, is it possible to show the shadow all over that length ? I tried to invert the normals in the track.jip, it worked once but not in the long tunnel.
2 - Is there any anyway to rotate an object with snap or input the amount of degrees?
3 - If i want to move the shapes from every scene at once can i move to a specific point ?
4 - Any sugesstion on how to control scale change when export shapes from GPBuilder to 3ds ?

i know its a lot of questions but apart from some information in the GPbuilder its hard to find here in the forum ...

Fantastic effort, I really like this track, fast and flowing. Great to have a new track builder in the community.

I've made some small updates for you if you want them:

* CC-Line update
* Magic Data update
* Settings.ini update
* .wad file updated - the naming convention inside the .wad had gone wrong which prevented the track loading when using GPxTrack, I've fixed it.

First of all, sorry for my english. I did myself a fantasy "tunnel track" about 2.5 km and i created shadows. But as you see below the tunnel is very light and the shadows spoiled everything, so i deleted them. I think it's the same thing with an ordinary tunnel. I created with the options shadows in "add".

Yes, it's possible to rotate an object with snap. But i'm like you, i'm a track modder beginner and i think guys like turbo lover, meteoro or jimbob can answer your questions.

I have several problems me too. After this tunnel track, i did Montréal by night. I used the original track but my problem is that I can't find correct 3ds objects on the web (Sketchfab, Turbosquid, Open3dmodel etc...) ; all the 3ds objects I download can't be imported by gp4 builder, it crashes. So, i take the objects of other tracks but they don't belong to me. For this reason i can't released my tracks. I work this moment on Kentucky speedway, a nascar track and it's the same problem. So, my question, to everybody, is do you know a site where i can get correct objects, to avoid stealing from others ? Many thx to all.

I haven´t tried it yet but i´ll give my feedback from your improvements.

To viking75 , my 3d models are made in Sketchup, i make the texture mapping there also but have to do 3 steps before importing into GPBuilder
1st . Export as 3ds and import into ZModeler
2nd - After importing in Zmodeler readress the tga texture to the materials and export as GP4
3rd - Import in Gp Builder and invert the Zaxis of the objects, fix green objects.

I could use Autocad but Sketchup is easier to model because you wont need that much accuracy.

I´m almost finishing another track , its called Arizona Track but in reality its base is the Hoover Dam near Las Vegas.
In fact I started it before the Updown Track but was not happy with the final section, so i had to rebuild part of it, still have to solve some problems with the pit entrance and to improve the scenario.

But im leaving here some previews, it would be completely impossible to run formula 1 cars in a bridge like that but , lets face it, this is only a game!(H)
