First of all, sorry for my english. I did myself a fantasy "tunnel track" about 2.5 km and i created shadows. But as you see below the tunnel is very light and the shadows spoiled everything, so i deleted them. I think it's the same thing with an ordinary tunnel. I created with the options shadows in "add".
Yes, it's possible to rotate an object with snap. But i'm like you, i'm a track modder beginner and i think guys like turbo lover, meteoro or jimbob can answer your questions.
I have several problems me too. After this tunnel track, i did Montréal by night. I used the original track but my problem is that I can't find correct 3ds objects on the web (Sketchfab, Turbosquid, Open3dmodel etc...) ; all the 3ds objects I download can't be imported by gp4 builder, it crashes. So, i take the objects of other tracks but they don't belong to me. For this reason i can't released my tracks. I work this moment on Kentucky speedway, a nascar track and it's the same problem. So, my question, to everybody, is do you know a site where i can get correct objects, to avoid stealing from others ? Many thx to all.
