If it has been done before, it should be done again imo. Definitely needs clarification in the rules though. Else people might start asking for CGT to be used in case of same quali times (as GP4 switches the order) etc. as well.

Dan's third place however wasn't lost because of a bug however. Yes, you can argue that the CC-line is faulty but so can many other drivers.
Also the bug isn't them pitting on last lap. The bug is that according to GP4 they don't cross the finishline and suddenly get set 1 lap back. That isn't what happened to Daniel, so I'm against him getting his 3rd place. He had an incident on the last lap, so it's very sad for him, but not an excuse to change results (Fia didn't either in Brazil 2008 Massa vs Hamilton).

Just so everyone is sure, YES i am pissed off DMR lost a podium with Dan going off the track, but..... so did half the field, so..... just plain bad luck. Sucks, but so does life sometimes......

I went back in the old thread to check the A1Ring events. Aidan pitted, crossing the s/f line (placed 7th/8th) while entering, but was classified last with 1 lap gap.

Fair thing to do would be figuring out in which position Chris and Dean were when they crossed the line, and hand them those positions.
