GPGSL S10: Season over! Thank you and goodbye. See you in S11 ||v||

It seems it's good for me to these two DMR, but good luck and hopefully they need to watch that oil on the track to prevent a spin!

Good to inherit some positions from all the other spinners - who knows where I will end up though!

I don't know whether you intended it or not ed but your signature and the picture of the Wiliams line up perfectly. It looks like your GPGSL sig carries on the pic of the williams.

Haha that's true actually! It is unintentional because the GPGSL Champion userbar should be next to the MPR userbar but the link went dead and I don't have a copy

@Ed That's brilliant. Remember, we did it first.

This race is mad, I've got no idea what's going on.

Race Day, Part The Third

Moinet has a go at Jalving, but fails.

Having briefly led the race, Legge is now in for his tyres and fuel.

Leaves the pits in 9th, behind Maverick. The AMR man having lost out to Kederer in the stops.

Thomas now leads the race.

Moinet, having passed Jalving into turn 1, makes a mistake and loses the position again.

Nell makes his stop.

And returns to the action in 11th position.

Meanwhile, Thomas slips off at the oily turn, but manages to save it.

Elleker now in 3rd place.

Moinet makes another pass on Jalving.

Michail is slowly down, must have a problem.

A loose wheel is the culprit. The JHR pit crew will have some explaining to do.

Elleker regains the lead on lap 24.

Thomas exits the pits just in front of Copeman, whilst Jalving finally pits.

Nell is definitely catching these two as his climb through the field continues.

Standings on lap 25.

Legge is slowly chipping away at the gap to Maverick.

Whilst Elleker is pulling away from Kederer.

Warrington takes 11th from Pedersen.

What's happening? This is sensational! Elleker is heading for the pits again!

Seems he had an issue with his brakes. The AMR crew have quickly fixed the problem, but he's down in 13th!

Moinet is way off track.

That's a dangerous place to be.

The Frenchman has got going again, but he's way down in 16th.

Threeway battle for 8th.

Legge still catching Maverick, can the Swiss hang on to 2nd?

Lap 30 standings.

Don't be right back, we'll go away!

End of Part Triple.

Solid race for me so far (unbelievably)! Would be just my luck to bin it now!

Only 2 retirements so far...uh oh! Gonna be some unhappy campers in the closing stages! Red flag the race now i say!

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
Tough luck for Jack, hopefully John can will be able to fend off Legge

used to be GPGSL's Nick Heidfeld
Ahhhhhhh crap!

Well, admittedly nothing better could have happened to me, but it's yet a shame to see Jack losing this safe win the same way I lost mine in Canada. So I'm feeling with him!

On the other hand I also dislike that he fell behind Sebastian as well, who is once again in 7th already and storming further into the points. Now I need to do what I can to secure that 2nd, at least!

wow, this was unexpected! One more part to survive through, come on..

Race Day, Part Four

Nell is hounding Copeman for 6th place.

Back round to the start/finish straight and Nell is having another look at passing Copeman.

And he's through.

Maverick still sits in third, but Legge is closing in.

Elleker chasing Horváth for 10th.

Into the first corner and Elleker is through.

Legge dives to the inside line to take Maverick.

And he's through into 2nd place.

Kederer leads, but will Legge catch him as well.

Kittleson makes a mistake, but doesn't lose a place.

Elleker sets fastest lap.

Legge is catching Kederer, but it doesn't seem like it will be enough in the laps reamining.

Positions on lap 35

De Bruyker attacks Sanvitale and takes 17th place.

5 laps to go and Kederer looks like he may this race in the bag.

Warrington is driving a very slow car.

Warrington is passed by Greenhalgh and Elleker, as the AMR driver sets the fastest lap.

Confirmation of Warrington's retirement, suspension failure.

Thomas is now catching Maverick.

With just two laps to go O'Brien retires due to a water leak.

Lap 40, let's look at the standings.

It's not looking good for Maverick keeping 3rd place.

Three way battle for 16th.

And Sanvitale retakes 16th.

Thomas steams down the inside of Maverick.

And steals the last podium place.

Last lap and Kederer is making his way to the chequered flag.

Kederer wins the South African Grand Prix!

Legge is 2nd.

But where is Thomas? Maverick is 3rd!

Nell 4th.

Ancevski is 5th.

6th place for Elleker. Yet more points lost when leading the race.

Greenhalgh 7th.

Rodríguez 8th.

Keranen 9th.

Horvath is 10th

Pedersen 11th.

Moinet rounds off the points paying positions in 12th.

Congratulations to Tobias Kederer and Team Shadow. Winners of the South African Grand Prix.

What a mega result for us! Would've loved to have closed down Tobi, but I didn't want to throw it off the road.

That result is for the team.

"My ambition is handicapped by laziness" - Charles Bukowski
not too bad, no boost did its toil at the end of that race, but very pleasing to get through the carnage cleanly, especially at a track that hasn't favoured me in the past. I'm very happy about how this race went :-)
