Actually, this decision was primarily made based on the first corner bug. If the pole setter is destined to lose 2-3 places at the start (every single time), this renders the qualifying quite ridiculous. Secondly, there was a tendency present that not only high-order teams felt bad about this circuit in the current state. Also a lot of midfield drivers backed it up. Thirdly, we have already changed the rules in favor of lower teams, with the result of 'traditional' teams being pissed, so I find that argument of yours a little obsolete.

Apart from the pole sitter being screwed every time A1Ring gets used, i personally like the unpredictable results! Surely this is something we can all live with? Concerned about wasting boost at the A1-Ring, dont use boost then. Pretty simple.
We all cry when the same drivers win all the time, whats the problem with 1 race a season where it is a lottery!
