GPGSL S9 R15 German Grand Prix - Hockemheim

Race Day , Part Two

Welcome back to coverage of the German GP. We rejoin the action with Gilson side by side with Jalving.

And Gilson takes 2nd from the MPR man.

Kederer too attacks Jalving.

German crowd will be happy with that pass.

Greidanus has quite a lead now.

A look at the field further down.

Schieder passes Scala for 10th.

Legge dives to the inside Moinet.

The graphic confirms the pass as Warrington heads for the pitlane entrance.

Warrington leaves the pits in 20th place.

Jalving has been dropped by Gilson and Kederer.

Greidanus is in for new tyres and fuel. That leaves Gilson in the lead.

The Dutchman exits in 11th.

But he is stuck in the middle of the fight between Legge and Moinet.

Greidanus needs to clear Legge if he is to keep hold of first after the stops.

Legge has other ideas though.

Now because Greidanus was held up badly it's given Moinet chance to attack.

Greidanus just about holds the Frenchman off.

Lap 10. The standings show that Kederer has made a stop.

The German has rejoined 10th just behind his team mate.

Rodríguez retakes 17th from Horváth.

Gilson heads for the pits.

Wow this is close! Gilson rejoins the track just in front of the pair of Shadows.

Legge still holding everyone up.

Gilson goes for it.

And he makes the pass stick, something Greidanus doesn't seem to be able to do.

Kittleson abandons his stricken Snake. Pirelli failure.

Jalving and Elleker pit.

Jalving rejoins in 6th, but probably will get passed by the Demon.

Elleker in 9th.

But gets overtaken by Greenhalgh.

Greidanus has pulled a sizable gap on Kederer and seems to be hanging on to leader Gilson.

Stay tuned for part three.

...wonderful. So much for looking like getting a decent result.

Not keen on the pit stop strategy of the team, too much traffic before me.

Oooh, may have lost out slightly there with the pits.

Good showing by the Demon team so far.....
Team boss Sheppard has scheduled a press conference post race, to announce a few plans too.... That will be after the conclusion of the current race.

I would like to say that :(

Would be very hard to regain 1st place with less fresher tyres. Not happy at all with the timing of the pit call.

You'd flat-spotted the first set running wide earlier in the race - Our hands were tied...
