Demon Racing - Press Release : NEW driver signing

With the recent shock announcement of Jake Legge leaving the team, the Demon team quickly began the hunt for a replacement driver. No stone was left unturned, with many driver's managers contacted about their availability and interest.
With several fantastic applicants interviewed, Demon Racing are thrilled and proud to announce their new race driver, Daniel Thomas.

Daniel has been around GPGSL for quite a while, so we all know his talent. Daniel arrives at Demon with a wealth of experience, something the team will utilise to it's fullest.

With the team's current driver lineup, for the next event things will stay the same. However, things may shuffle around in coming race weekends.

The team owner of Demon noted that as an Australian owned team, it truly feels like an Aussie team now, with our first Australian driver signed to the team.
We welcome Daniel to the team!

Interesting signing there, suppose an Aussie in an Aussie team is a good shout :)

Tom will need to find a replacement tester for us at Shadow but I'm pretty sure he'll come up trumps :D

Looking forward to seeing the drivers' and teams' tables.

If any drivers are still interested in a test seat for next season drop me a PM, negotiations on going.

Couldn't you wait with further driver swaps until next season? ;)

Pretty happy with my Monza race.
Hopefully that other more minor Martini team can match our feat and get a 1-2 next week at Monza!

Not you! Glen possibly! ;)

@John - Righttttt, I was going to say, we've only made one driver change all year

@Ed - Oh, that team... Yeah, let's not talk about them.

Two big driver announcements to come before I head off to Monza, keep your eyes peeled.

I still have a contract to race with Demon until the end of the season, so unless Glen physically drags me out of the car I'm not budging ;)

In other news, I signed a deal last week which sorts out my future for S10...I WILL be on the grid!

GPGSL: S6 - TafuroGP Tester (14th) /// S7 - ART Tester (6th) /// S8 - Demon Driver (13th) /// S9 - Demon/Snake Driver (13th) /// S10 - Snake Driver (???) ///]

Silly season in full flow. Announcement on my own future soon.

I'm sorted for S10, I guess the appropiate team boss will let slip soon enough :)

GPGSL -
GPGSL-3 - Pizza Party Racing manager and driver
Nations Cup - Team Scotland manager
As I'm one of the rookies I guess I'll have to wait for the big names to decide their futures, and then, hopefully, someone will have a seat for me :D

Waiting a good result on Italy GP! =D

My GPGSL Career
Demon Racing Press Statement

With Jake Legge stunning his boss (who gave him his start in GPGSL) with a sudden resignation, Demon have reacted and hired their replacement driver for S10 announced yesterday.
Our driver lineup for S10 will therefore be as follows:
Race drivers Sebastian Nell and Daniel Thomas
Test Drivers : Glen Sheppard and Mathew Allington

For the remainder of S9, we may shuffle Jake and Mathew around, to give Mathew a chance to show his talent. Whilst we intend to keep Jake in a seat, and particularly to let him race at Silverstone to end his career at Demon, we must look to the future or the team.
With that said, we officially announce that Mathew Allington will be in the race seat for the Austrian and Czech GP's. Jake will come to the test seat for these two events.....

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
Lovely surprise to get a shot in that race seat - thanks a million, Glen :)

GPGSL -
GPGSL-3 - Pizza Party Racing manager and driver
Nations Cup - Team Scotland manager
Finnish for the Finish

TNR have landed a rather unusual Finnish-Autralia hybrid humanoid driver for remainder of the season to fill the vacant second test driver slot.

Aidan Keranen, who can't quite make up his mind if he is Australian or Finnish, will hopefully be making his debut in time for round 13 of the GPGSL.

For those interested, Aidan is partial to the odd fish finger sandwich; hates Wednesdays; has a terrifying phobia of Richard Branson and sports a small tattoo of Hulk Hogan on his thigh.
