Quite happy with 6th, couldn't really have done any better due to the weather getting worse throughout the session

So @#$%¨#$%$#%%¨of rain!!! :-(

Yes, great result! That has to be my first ever GPGSL podium. The weather helped a bit but sometimes all you need is a bit of luck.

^ Absolute tosh. It's clear that the rain got heavier as the session went on - so those who ran in the second 11 were always at a disadvantage, and those who were first out at the start were guaranteed to be top. The first six out were in the top 6, and the last 11 runners out were two seconds down on the fastest time.

Unfortunately, due to the weather the results are not very reliable. But 2nd and 6th is a very nice team result. A similar result in the main qualifying would be a huge success.

And that's why you don't use boost in the rain kids ;)

Hopefully the weather plays more in our favour in qualifying :)

Don't forget the fact there wasn't any footage due "a technical problem with the cameras" after Greg set the fastest time. ;)

Don't forget that in the first race Greg recorded, he was far down the field. Plus, we all know that in such rain sessions everything can happen and we're still early in the season where the perfs are close together. So be nice...at least a little bit ;)

Noticed that as well :-p
Just one thing I want to ask, don't take this as a rant nor anything, but wouldn't it be better to have everyone in the FP run at the same time instead of 2 groups of 11 drivers? It's a nice qualifying system and all but I don't particularily like it for obvious reasons ^^
Not a bad result for MPR! But I hope to have better results in qualifying for us ;-)

Yes, i agree. I don't want this to be seen as a DMR whinge or anything, but.... is this "2 group" stuff part of the rules for the Free Practise sessions in the test drivers sessions? If so, it does seem a bit ridiculous. Might need to fine tune that rule for the future, I think. The weather is a good variable to mix up results, but this time it just seems to have automatically disadvantaged those running in the second group of cars.....
As for the results, well... they stink! I am sure if either myself or Sebastian got to run in that first group, we would have ended up with a top 5 result. But, it wasn't to be....

Nooooo! I would find it totally disgusting if by any chance, that our little impatient Mr O'Brien somehow managed to ccome first in his own RD' session, then mysteriously the last 10 minutes of the broadcast go missing, and we get no official GP4 results screen to show proof of what happened.:-O
Surely people are not suggesting anything dishonest. Greg is after all, an Australian, and we are all honest, law abiding citizens.....;)

And if by some chance it was ever found that a RD cut short a session to advantage himself, instant dismissal from GPGSL should result, in my opinion. This is after all, supposed to be fun.
