Not the worst result considering the grid position!

Really pleased with a good strong result after a difficult time in Australia, hopefully we can go and kick on from here! Disappointed for Connor, but again showed there's pace in the car with fastest lap, our second in 3 races!

Don't know how much attention most of you pay to the GPGNC thread, especially if you arent in it, but ive been live streaming race weekends. Would the GPGSL be interested in me doing that occasionally over here? Won't be able to start until the new year as im going home for 3 weeks, but as soon as im back i can have a shot? Bit early i know, but gives me time to schedule it ;-)

For examples of what it would be like feel free to head over to the GPGNC thread and have a look.

That would be great Connor. I must admit to enjoying your live races and qualifying in the GPGNC. :)

Also the slide show on imgur was good too, great coverage Jake (H)

Great race for Demon Racing.

Also coverage is great, one small thing though: If it's possible, the text OVER the pictures would be better, is strange to read if under it. Of course, if it's already over the pictures, you are commenting them pretty weird :-p

In retrospect, I would have done that. Not having done it like that before, I wasn't sure of the results.

ANYWAY, I'd best jump on the GPGSL account and give you the activity check.

Activity Check Results

Ladies, gentlemen and other species: here are the results for the activity check from the 27th November to the 11th December.

Three drivers were inactive this time, and they were:

Ben Johnson (Scuderia Minardi) - Last active: not yet posted.
Adam Davies (MAC Racing) - Last active: 7 weeks ago

As Johnson and Davies are on their SECOND warnings, they will receive a 20-point deduction and demotion to the test series.

After an error was pointed out, Ross Cartwright will NOT receive a penalty.

Next deadline: December 25th, 2012.

I understand if you are away at Christmas, but you must declare it with a set time period. Thank you for your cooperation.

Over and out.

If anyone is in need of a driver due to recent activity checks then I'd be happy to arrange a loan deal

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions

Sod demotion to the test series; give his race win to somebody that can be bothered to turn up! Somogyi did really well to finish second and was then beaten by a ghost!

I'm sure it has been done before. I remember it at least being considered when Phil won in Oz and then didn't even post about it.

I'd suggest striping him of his drivers points and his win statistically but keeping the order as it is.

I don't get the sense of that:

Although the checks are in a 14-day period, you must have posted in a 10-day period prior to the deadline.

So if I'd post regularly, but always within 3 days after the activity check, I would get punished? Or do I mistake something here?

I'd go along with that although I still think everybody could quite easily be moved up the order one place as well. Somogyi won the race in my mind, so he might as well be credited with it.

It's a bit of a grey area, isn't it? I take it to mean that if you've posted during that time and then not again until the check, you'd get a penalty.

Of course, I wouldn't mind a little clarification on that ruling myself as it would make the job a little more understandable.

OT: It was Ben who won the race, not Somogyi, We all know Ben always was active, there must be something going on there. I personally contacted him via various platform but sad that didnt work out.
One can only hope he is ok.

Matteo Scala will take over his seat for the following races. As Ben gets demoted to the testers role for the next race. If he doesnt show up after that i'm very sad to see him go from the series. I agree however that we do not need ghosts and that "ghosts" are dangerous for the league's existance.

That may be true, but with all due respect, I dont think he should be allowed to keep it. He already had an inactivity penalty and hasn't shown up yet this season.
