GPGSL S8 Round 14 -Monaco Grand Prix - The RD's Short Straw >> SHOCKING NEWS AT PAGE 204!!! <<

Nice but not the best we can do. This car has definitely more hidden potential. Time will tell if Stefan and I will be able to exploit it.

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
I'm very happy with 5th. Now if you don't mind, I'm off to the GPGSL Rocks In Singapore concert.
Geez, what a disastrous test session! Obviously someone tampered with our can of whoop-ass. Not looking good for the race right now.

Long way to go until the end of this championship so I'm pleased with 4th on a track which I hate. I thought I nailed on my last lap but unfortunately it wasn't good enough. The pace of our cars looks amazing (on a clear track) this weekend so good luck for qualy and race guys. Have a good one. Pool party time!!!! (D)

Qualifying has been run, I'll put it up tomorrow afternoon at the latest :)

This one lap system really shakes things up!

Im very pleased with the practice result. That is the kind of result that we should be acheiving during the race meets. I think qualifying is really going to hurt us this year. Im not hopeful here but I know that Jack and Michael will do the best job they can.

GPGSL - Christel VXR team Boss S6-S8, S12 Onwards

12th's not bad I suppose, its an improvement on last time out! I just don't seem to have the pace this year. Hopefully things will pick up for me from here on in.
@Stuart, thanks man, i appreciate that ;)

Its good to show Matteo how to drive again, lets hope we can keep this performance going on ! After we've deleted all the crappy data Matteo got for us in this session.
Matty should now partying with 2 Hustler girls is a fantastic thing AFTER the sessions ! Now you see, *** does get you concentration down. All football coaches in the world will prevent theire players from having s....l i...r....e before the matches. Its a sad sad day !

Hmm free practice didn't really give us a good indication of where we are this weekend... Hopefully Charrel and I can put ourselves somewhere near the front otherwise it's going to be long race for us MPR boys!

GPGSL Round 3 - Singapore – Qualifying Session

The Marina Bay circuit created by drt01, jcaranti and SchueyFan.

Welcome to Singapore, and you join us here for the qualifying here at Marina Bay. Now remember, the drivers get one shot each. Let’s see what happens.

Rodriguez is first out of the blocks.

He begins his lap, as Elleker gets the final checks in before he leaves the pits.

The first two sectors are set by the Uruguayan...

...who sets the pace with a 1:40.296.

Time for Elleker to begin his effort.

Up at the first split by only 7 hundredths of a second!

He extends his advantage at the next split...

And thus beats Rodriguez.

Steer’s turn now; he finds some ground on Elleker at sector one.

And again at the second, he’s lost a tiny bit of time but still ahead...

Job done, a fraction quicker than his former team-mate.

Jalving’s turn now...

And he’s actually slower than Steer in the first sector there.

AND the second sector as well.

Only 3rd currently for Jalving. Don’t forget, we’ve got lots more to get through too.

Ben Johnson starts his lap.

He’s already quite a way up on Steer there.

And he’s more than doubled his advantage at the second sector. This looks good for the Brit.

And just LOOK AT THAT! That’s a huge gap he’s pulled out there! Provisional pole.

Greenhalgh to take centre stage.

And he’s SLOWER! Johnson must’ve put in a really special lap.

Almost half a second down at sector two...

Ed breaks into the ‘39s’, but can’t get near Johnson.

Now it’s the turn of Somogyi. How can he fare?

Oooh...VERY close to Johnson at the first split.

He’s still in with a shout here! He just needs to hook up the last sector...

...but just can’t squeeze out that bit extra. Still a very good lap, though.

Now the second Demon gets a run out; Legge driving.

Quite a way down on the pace there, not a good sector there.

And he’s nearly half a second off there...his boost not paying off at all.

Not the lap he would have wanted by any stretch, almost a second off his team-mate.

After the first round of runners, some standings.

We’ll be back with the rest after our RD has had a nap on the console...

That looks just AWFUL, with that second off the pace, things won't be easy.

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
Great run by Somogyi, a little off the pace for Legge though.... Still, we at DMR are showing some speed.....(H)

Disasterous test session, I can't explain why I was so rubbish. The MPR doesn't seem to like bumps perhaps, although Monil clearly does as his best lap was a good one.Charrel'slooks to have suffered from similar setup issues like, let's hope we can get our other car up front!
That lap made me want to gouge my eyes out with a spoon...

The rest of the quali will be with you later today...

GPGSL Round 3 - Singapore – Qualifying Session Part Two

The Marina Bay circuit created by drt01, jcaranti and SchueyFan.

Welcome back, and you rejoin us as Kederer makes his appearance from the pits.

Within touching distance of Johnson there...

Split 2, and he’s still within a tenth of the current polesitter...

And he doesn’t quite manage it. Third place for the German.

Maverick steps up now, and he’s just a tenth slower.

Make that 2 and a half now, it doesn’t look like the AMR man’s quite got it together

That’s confirmation of a current 4th place, then. Maverick’s still yet to crack 1-lap qualifying.

Maverick’s best friend Greidanus is on the pedestal now.

And he’s close to his old team-mate Johnson, but the first sector seems to be the undoing of many.

It looks to be a similar story for Greidanus too...he’s close though.

But he slots into 4th, behind his teammate there.

Edwards has had an impressive start for TNR, and he’ll want to continue that form here.

Like many before him, he’s very close in Sector 1.

By sector two, he’s a tenth down.

Currently 5th there for Edwards. Certainly, a decent lap.

Michael Pedersen’s turn now, and he’s already over a tenth slower than 1st place.

The Dane is quarter of a second behind at sector two; Christel have struggled with one-lap runs.

A current 7th place there, but way down on the leader’s pace.

Former ART principal van Renselaar to set a time next.

Johnson’s first sector still holds up strongly.

The second one remains untouched too.

Still a good lap from van Renselaar though, he’s currently in 6th place.

Round 1 winner Gilson is up now, and he can’t make a dent in that first sector either.

And he’s way down in the second one.

Only an 8th there for Gilson. He’d have wanted to extract a little more.

MAC racer Hinz is on track now. What can he do?

Er, not a lot by the looks of things. Safe to say this won’t be a pole-setting lap.

And that’s confirmed by sector two. He’s over half a second down on Johnson.

A testing lap for Hinz, only resulting in 14th.

Standings for our current contingent.

We’ll take a short break, and then we’ll see our last six runners. Don’t go away!
