God knows I need a good performance here to get things moving again this season. Hopefully something good will come from this weekend for me.

Okay, a tad off topic I know but I needed a quick bit of advice and wondered if anyone could help. I have just taught myself to roughly build a mod for GP4. I have the kids cars, for my class project, in and running. Perfs are setup and everything seems okay. I have used the latest version of the GPGSL mod as a basis, hope nobody minds. The only problem is that I have teams that I don't need. You see the kids worked in teams of four and so there are only 14 cars. I wondered whether there was a way of getting rid of the other cars completely.

So far I have given them awful perfs, so that trail around at the back, and very high (9000) reliability rating, so that they retire from the race, but they are still there. Any ideas anyone?

I don't think there's any way to get rid of them, unfortunately

The only thing I can suggest is to expand the grid to 7 teams of 3 and you can have a car!

That's what I thought. Expanding the teams is not a bad shout though.

Chris, go to the folder ...GPGSL-S8-2012 Race Drivers\Data\Tweaker\gp4tweak_data and open and edit the file numcars.ini in notepad and replace the last eight 1s with 0s on the line for the track you are using, or to make sure, edit them all as follows:

Go to the folder ...GPGSL-S8-2012 Race Drivers\Data\Tweaker and open edit the file gp4tweaker.ini in notepad and edit this line by changing the 0 to a 1:

CarsEnabler = 1 ; set to 1 to enable car enabler tweak // forgotten?[/i]

The cars will still be in qualifying, but should not appear in the race. Hope this helps
