Since you're a newcomer, you had the base perf, which is 16020, 600, 16050, 600

/edit: Corrected typo in the perf numbers

thx mate!
Sorry for not being here, windows 7 corruption has kind of struck me down on the PC front. In terms of the sprint qualifying, fantastic result for both the snake guys 8th and 10th is looking positive. Those amazing snake cars do deserve to be at the top though ;)

Relieved to see @TrueNorth will be using the Car of Shame this weekend. Long live tradition!

Unless I'm very much mistaken... I am very much mistaken!
@truecrysis, did you get my pm reply?

Christel VXR Test Driver Interview

Press: Greg, you managed to qualify 4th for the sprint race. How does that feel?
Greg O'Brien: To be quite honest I was not expecting to qualify in 4th. The team did a really good job with the car and their hard work has payed off. All I was hoping to do was get out there, get some laps in and get the car back in one piece for the sprint race. To qualify 4th and be ahead of some of the more experienced guys and faster cars shows that Christel VXR have got a fast car capable of taking it to the top teams.
Press: Where do you think you'll finish in the race?
Greg O'Brien: No idea. As long as I can get past lap 1 first and avoid possible dramas. Although I will try my best to capitalize on my grid position and hopefully score a podium.
Press: Last question. How do you think the main drivers will go in the main race?
Greg O'Brien: Hopefully they'll do really good. It will be tough, but I feel that this weekend may go down as being one of the best race weekends ever for Christel VXR. AMR, Shadow and MPR are the top teams so to finish in front of them will be a added bonus for the team.

Great to see that the season has begun

Guys Norbert Nobby Horvath has gone AWOL in the off-season. Not sure he knows the season is back on yet, hasn't posted across any of the forums in over a month.

Eeek! Whats the rule regarding season starting, do we have an 'all present' register before inactivity starts?

No worries, I'll be in Melbourne right in time... ;)
Lol! Phew! Was worried my superstar was busying himself with the Budapest ladies of the night :P

Good to see you return mr man. The actual race ready car has landed in Melbourne, its being pieced together by chimps as we speak.

Only the car of shame for Gui and myself hopefully. The fans love it, gotta stick with tradition! :P

Sprint Race

The cars line up on the grid for the first sprint race of the season. Matteo Scala has given up team ownership to concentrate on his driving and it must be working as he has put his Minardi on pole here at Albert Park.

And they are off! Scala gets a good start and leaves the others in his wake.

Coming out of turn 2 and Sevastian has taken advantage of a mistake by de Boer to take 2nd place.

O'Brien is lying in 4th with McCarthy close behind in 5th.

Tom Pellatt tries to take newcomer Roedl and narrowly avoids a collision and a trip to visit the stewards.

Rodrigo Vilela must be quietly pleased as both his cars are in the top 11 so far in their first race.

Scala naturally takes fastest lap on the opening tour.

Mal Stoddart attempts a pass on Vilela into turn 1.

Ingers has made a good start, up seven places just ahead of a shameful TNR in a Demon sandwich.

Positions after lap 1.

Brunner getting racey in 6th.

Scala takes fastest lap again.

McGregor looks to have blown something.

Slides off on some fluid his car has dropped and wrecks his car.

O'Brien attacks de Boer for 3rd position.

De Boer is off! Must have been shoved off by the inexperienced Aussie.

Stoddart, having been challenging one ONE, is now coming under attack by another ONE ;)

Scala has really found a new lease of life at Minardi.

Oh the shame!

Stoddart has a moment in turn 9 and runs wide.

Roedl and de Boer try to take advatage.

But its all as you were.

Seems Dan Mills has taken a shine to his new pink and yellow lid.

14 laps remaining, lets have a look at the standings.
1130

Lets have a look at the replay.

Something must have happened to Ingers, he has now dropped four places to 18th.

Brunner in the Snake. Looks like they ran out of Pirelli's and had to cadge some Bridgestones.

Santilal collides with Nell.

And they are both off.

Scala makes a pitstop leaving Sevastian in first place.

Battle of the Holdens as Nell recovers from is tangle with Santilal

Thomas fighting with his team boss as Copeman takes to the pitlane.

Roedl up to 3rd as the pitstops continue.

Half distance, heres the standings.

Sevastian is still out, as is Brunner, but the cameras seem to have lost Scala in melee.

Rumours were that AMR will struggle with not having used the SMD-ZG02 before, but surely Mavericks's and Sevastian's MPR knowledge will come in handy. Only time will tell.

We have a little light rain here in Melbourne.

Santilal harassing another Demon.

Sevastian has just made his stop and is just under 5 seconds behind Scala who has retaken the lead.

Oh the shame!!!!!!

Cramer looks to have let his slicks cool too much in the damp conditions.

5 laps to go.

Two ONEs ;)

Mills catches a spin.

Ah no wonder Dan was out of shape, he has punted Pellatt off track.

Oh no, in trying to get back on track, Tom has collected the barrier and he has lost his right front.

Top 5.

Last lap.

Matteo Scala wins the Melbourne Sprint Race.

Andrei Sevastian in 2nd.

Dominic Brunner 3rd

Congratulations to Matteo Scala and Scuderia Minardi.
